Women have their needs
They cannot be ignored, made fun of or abandoned
Listen to her, compromise for her, negotiate
Make her feel like she's the center of your vast universe
A man will know when he's in love with a woman
When her well-being is the highest concern in his mind
Real honeys are hard to find
So make sure you don't leave her behind
She's so important
Respect her, always
Count your blessings and remember to thank god on the ground she walks on
You may never meet somebody so special in your whole life
Fulfill her needs, so that beauty can be complete
Years ago I thought
That the fondness of the heart
Is found in absence.
Your smile, your warmth, I missed
I really did.
Some things are best left in the past. Accept and let go.
the falling of leaves
from the family trees
and the changing of wayward tides

the height above seas
or two hundred degrees
or the place where the devil hides

atmospherics of pressure
set not for good measure
could never offset what I've done

for I swore it my strongest
I held it the longest
that forever I'd love just this one

holding my hands to detain
his smiling eyes entertain
tufty hair that is perfect for rumpling

summer nights out in rain
like symphonic refrain
little thoughts that he stops me from crumpling

just our walk in the park
just might stave off the dark
of the presence of all things unlovely

'cause his embrace is a lark
each soft kiss leaves a mark
and each day this perpetuates doubly

so the spring that I've kept
turns winter to concept
though outside be they blizzards of cold

I love his without, his within
the mystique of his skin
and his soul that with mine will grow old

(20 minute poetry)

Chaos,
there is no Central line
the drivers are
on strike again.

Each strike
more pain
but we endure,

one things for sure
the tracks remain.

As London struggles in the
absence of no travelling
I couldn't give a toss
if I don't get to work
no loss.

But I left home early
just in case I
had a change of heart,
ha, no chance there
my heart don't race
except when I see
her.

On a roundabout route
all points are moot

Don't know in the dark
if I'll be in the West End
or at Wembley Park
not sure I care
they certainly don't.

If you hear from me
then presently
you'll know that I survived
and I've arrived.
if not then you've got
this to read.
