In an idle ilk the poet
Did **** precious time
Non pursuant twas he
Of that haunting rhyme

The Tap tap tap of his Thumbs
In pulse to the Anxiety that Comes
Resistant and Hesitant this Choice of Word
Like crows on a wire flitting to and fro
Simply to be Assured who is top Bird

He mulled in thought
On his composition
Yet not acting on it
Due to a stalling disposition

Caught in a Web, of Websters Dictionary
Assonance and Consanace Fundimentaly
He Chews each Syllable to Spit out
The Misconstrued Vowels that he Shouts!

love is a bouquet
scented in fragrant aroma
it overpowers
the oldest profession
doth bring much needed funds
housewives and mothers walking the streets
to supplement the household income
Mrs Jones is plying her female wares
in a motel suite somewhere
those extra dollars
shall pay the education fees
for her daughter Claire
as day to day living
isn't cheap
mothers and wives working the pavement
at any given time
the money they receive is a bonus
a nice little earner
a few bucks can be most helpful
as the family budget oft sinks in a well
these women don't haggle
with their clients too much
they give them what they want
and in return get what they need
a dime is a dime
it can be so useful
when the fortnightly paycheck
is so skint
the ladies of the night
aren't always in the game for the purposes of romping
they're lying on their backs
to fill the hole
in the domestic
piggy bank

betterdays
in this moment
as the waves
erode the sand
beneath my feet

and the wind howls
across the white capped waves
i am serene

the future
while never stable
is ever hopeful
the past
dealt with as best
as one can

and the now
holds my hand
and watches our boy
laughing,
as he chases sandcrabs

I hear again the sound
of the sea
the water touching my toes

I feel once more
Those arms
that carry me while I am shouting
the same words-

        My love,
        no matter what...
        I love you forever!

We dance again
to the music of the rain
and play like children
like what we had been seeing
in our dreams before

I am yours
you are mine
We are destined to be one
forever
I love you

I was staring at the sea
When I saw the past like I gazed at the window

I saw you there-
    weak
    crawling
    struggling
Too many times you tried to stand
But you fell again and again

I never asked to be here
I never asked to see you
I never asked to be hurt
Knowing that the one I was watching
Was the one staring at the sea

I never asked to be here
I never wanted to see myself in vain.
Thank you for reading.
sorrow's river
floods in tears
the weeping lasts
for many years

sadness staining
the hearts of the bereaved
with a constancy

the soul's eye
ever spills
torrents
of
loss
rising
waters
the
impost

consolation
comes
to
comfort
the
existing
as the inundation
subsides
into
healing
the knee joints
are giving me curry
of late they've not
allowed me to hurry
it's a good thing
that I'm not in a scurry
for if I was my knees
wouldn't flurry

this very day
my arthritic knees
have almost set
into a deep freeze
little movement
from them can I tease
they are stuck
like roots of trees

not being able
to ambulate
is irking me
no old end
how pleasant
it would be
to have knees
that can easily bend

I'm certainly not
going anywhere to-day
as my knee joints
wont let me get away

for me they'll be
no walking to the shop
as my knees have put me
at a bit of a stop
