Why can't I write?
Why can I no longer bleed words?
Has life taken that much of a toll
That I can no longer write about my world?

Isn't pain or happiness supposed to inspire a beautiful or heart wrenching poem?
I am currently experiencing both feelings in my life, but the words still do not show.

I spend hours on a keyboard, and weeks on my phone; trying to type a simple tiny poem.

But the blank page stares at me, mocking my lack of inspiration. I feel a lack of dedication and not an ounce of motivation.

I've lost it...

I can no longer express my feelings through ink or through the keys on a computer. I thought this was my skill, but I guess writing is no longer in my future.
Let me know what you think. I haven't wrote in a while. Comment and favorite (:

Isabel met an enormous bear,
Isabel, Isabel, didn't care;
The bear was hungry, the bear was ravenous,
The bear's big mouth was cruel and cavernous.
The bear said, Isabel, glad to meet you,
How do, Isabel, now I'll eat you!
Isabel, Isabel, didn't worry.
Isabel didn't scream or scurry.
She washed her hands and she straightened her hair up,
Then Isabel quietly ate the bear up.
Once in a night as black as pitch
Isabel met a wicked old witch.
the witch's face was cross and wrinkled,
The witch's gums with teeth were sprinkled.
**, **, Isabel! the old witch crowed,
I'll turn you into an ugly toad!
Isabel, Isabel, didn't worry,
Isabel didn't scream or scurry,
She showed no rage and she showed no rancor,
But she turned the witch into milk and drank her.
Isabel met a hideous giant,
Isabel continued self reliant.
The giant was hairy, the giant was horrid,
He had one eye in the middle of his forhead.
Good morning, Isabel, the giant said,
I'll grind your bones to make my bread.
Isabel, Isabel, didn't worry,
Isabel didn't scream or scurry.
She nibled the zwieback that she always fed off,
And when it was gone, she cut the giant's head off.
Isabel met a troublesome doctor,
He punched and he poked till he really shocked her.
The doctor's talk was of coughs and chills
And the doctor's satchel bulged with pills.
The doctor said unto Isabel,
Swallow this, it will make you well.
Isabel, Isabel, didn't worry,
Isabel didn't scream or scurry.
She took those pills from the pill concocter,
And Isabel calmly cured the doctor.

I think maybe she liked horror movies so much
Because she finally found something that was more frightening than her life.
And we all know she liked to be scared even though she was sick of being afraid.

For once, I want to say
why not?
Instead of always asking
why?
I'm sick of this
perpetual fear.
Just let me say
*why not?

I have this black cloud that follows me around,
It's not big, or cumbersome, about this big.
It's not bad, just quite gloomy, quite dark.
Sometimes it rains.
A relentless, despondent downpour,
Soaking my insides with a numbing damp.
It doesn't always rain.

Do you have a cloud?

Season without light,
Comfort in the cold,
Solace in the night,
Warmth in your hold.

I resent you
For what you do
You carry on
But I am gone
You ignore me
And you don't see
I can't do this
It's you I miss
And us, together
I wished forever

But why?
Was it a lie?
Did I make it up?
Did I run out of luck?
You made me love you

Defeated,
Energy depleted.
Down on luck,
Out of pluck.
Bruised and broken,
All words spoken.
Wind knocked out,
One last bout.

Raise head,
Not yet dead.
Stand up straight,
Shake off hate.
Dust off self,
Drink to health.
Look to light,
En garde, fight.

She's so fragile like a flower
So I am careful not to hurt her
She has nothing like thorn or spine
I love and adore her forever

She's so beautiful like a flower
And I always admire her beauty
She's my inspiration and strength
Someone who sees the best in me

She's so lovable like a flower
Not only because she is pretty
But because she has a good heart
Like a flower,  she's perfect for me.
She's his flower...
