Creep
Flu
You're like the flu,
everyone wants you,
maybe just to skip school or work,
but really,
your gonna make us regret having you.
We'll try to get rid of you,
but you'll just threaten us,
tighten your grip.
Everyone knows who you are,
you don't care
about anyone,
you strut in here like you own the place.
You'll take control, seize our minds,
as we'll struggle under your grasp.
And when you finally go,
you'll always leave behind a trail...
(i'll) attack
by thirty seconds to mars

Creep
Please
I'll put my mask on of "happiness."
When you see me put this mask on,
Pull it off and ask me what's wrong.

If I lie to you,
Which I probably will,
Slap me.

When I slap you back,
Pull my hand back,
And wrestle me to the ground,
Force the truth out of me,
Then console me with hugs and kisses
As the tears begin to fall.
I'm not okay (i promise)
Welcome to the black parade
Both by my chemical romance
I was told to act like a lady and speak sugar coated words.
Cover my face in make up and look pretty for the world.

I was told to act like a lady and wear skirts not jeans.
Impress people around and make them all happy.

I was told to act like a lady and be polite to everyone.
Suffocate my own dreams and live like others.

I was told to act like a lady and keep my voice down.
Just pass smiles and not to laugh out loud.

I was told to act like a lady and be a lovable doll.
Let them play with me while I can't put up any walls.

I won't act like a lady and there's nothing you can do.
I'll be whoever I want to be, it's my kingdom to rule.
Random thoughts scribbled down.
To write food in the stomach
Of every hungry child.

To spell war as peace,
Metaphorize flowers into the barrel

Of every gun on Earth.
The poet has responsibilities

Beyond those of mothers,
Of kings and presidents.

I refuse to give up hope;
This could be a poem world.

Come on, write your worst piece
Of literature.

Even misprints may give other
Meanings to a word,

Write me a green sky, blue dirt,
Trees the colour of air.

Sometimes the best poets
Have the least to say,

So keep writing, write until your
Fingers fall asleep.

Write until you havent slept
For weeks in search of that word,

That one right word,
Then rest on a notebook pillow

And dream the world right.
Write the world right.

There is no such thing as
Wasted poetry.
"Talk to me
in poetry"
he said,
so I whispered
nothingness
through the quiet cold air
breathless
for he was my silent prayer
and I
just a pattern
in the chaos
The truth right now

Is the truth I know

Unity is the reality that freedom couldn't bring

The greatest gift I've ever gotten

Is a reality check

Check mark check

Pay cash check

The truth I know

My worst gift I've ever gotten

Was a green paper

And the ideology that I could be anything and go anywhere

Oh the truth I know

For as a person the hardest math equation is getting something to equal when the scale is forever tipped

The currency of gift

Distinguish from the rift

The easiest thing I've done was breathe

For the struggle wasn't real as the life form unconsciously growing in the womb I wasn't the one to ensure my survival

The hardest thing I've done

Is decided to keep breathing

While I get penetrated

At the pinnacle

Of my pineal gland

And what its made up of

But the truth I know

I enable limits

Because the truth I know

I reach for what can't be reached

Because the truth I know

Oh the truth I know

Is the truth right now

I should've wrote it down

Over the years
I've built this home inside of my mind
To put away the thoughts and fears
The for sale sign allows me to leave behind.
Soon the prevailing wind
Will soon bring vacation to an end,
I'll return to find a cracking foundation
Crumbling walls and stagnation.
I'll search for answers from the beginning
The cracks in my concrete grow
But you're the one filling them, I hope you know.
