my eyes unperished stars
lingering in someone's forgotten memory.

Even urgency
resists the urge
of plea.

O forgiveness,
in the dry land of neglect;
you keep resisting me
even with my guard down.
Is there distinct means to summon you?
Are you a shattered God?

   and my fingers tangle in the air
that they encounter.
   that emptiness.
     confusion.
