It seems the years accelerated fast
I remember being young in my thirties
But now I am Seventy
What happened during those years
Aches and pains
Everything else I will let remain
My steps get slower
It's hard exercising going lower
I was always energetic
What a surprise?
The years in wisdom helped me realize
Value what you have, and never take for granted
You live once, and time uncertain
Live it too the fullest
Time waits for no one
Cherish the time you have

Who are we really
Wrought broken souls
Searching for that last corner piece
What are you going to do
With the weight of the world
Stuck on the precipice of life and death.

Sometimes I wander
Deeper to the city
Velvet streets and
Brimstone corner stores
Silent, contemplative
Sacred Simplicity

I am not afraid to live- for I have lived.
I am not afraid to die- for I have died.
All I can do- when faced with oblivion,
is stand with my arms outstretched-
and fall.

The dark filled the night sky,
Then she was born on the first of July.
Filled the dark with her light,
singing a song, with all her might.

Nothing could be more poetic,
with her songs to all that is cosmic.
But, the fear of falling,
would make her feel blue.
So, she would step down,
calls herself New.

Yet, she keeps everyone hopeful,
with all the phases, from crescent to full.
Despite the fear of falling,
she still watches from the sky,

Avoiding oblivion, watching,
with each of her eyes.

When darkness fills the sky,
she, and her Moonlight will be your guide.
Singing you a song, accompanying you

through oblivion.

Qualyxian Quest
Some Buddhists say
Nothing ever achieves being
Like everything is trying to exist
But never quite does

I think I understand
I've moved so often
Samsara
The way it was

I trust the Buddha
Can't tell you why
Bangkok temple
Silent monk in robes

We disappear
Probably forever
One man justifies
One man overthrows!

Perhaps real happiness is
when we stop waiting
for others to do it for us
