she walks until
she can no longer feel
the weight of her legs
nor the earth beneath her feet

all she can feel
is the weight
of her sorrow
A hollow stone,
Strong and sturdy.
Slowly weakening;
Corrupted by weather.

Try to dab,
Feel the cracks
Whisper one word,
Enjoy it crumble.

Eyes open,
Switch: off
Grinning and laughing,
Repeatedly cursed.
A random poem I made when I was bored.

when my son was younger
he asked -

how old are the mountains
from where did the First People come
why does the sun sleep in the ocean
what is the color of rain

now that my son is older
stronger, wiser and bolder
he asks -

how old are the mountains...
...what is the color of rain

some things don't change.

Hey, Son. :)
I woke up hungry again
From the lack of food in the freezer
Sometimes I open it an pretend its full
But the pain in my stomach snaps me back into reality
No breakfast again
We try to conserve but the little we have
Just isn't enough
Mom has two jobs
Ironically to feed the both of us
She's working all day an all night for me and you
I wish we could see her
I know your hungry too
So here take my plate
Dont worry your my little sister its what any big brother would do
Im tired of being poor so here's what I'll do
I'll go sell drugs
Even if it kills me ill do this for you
my heart
seems to stop
when i notice your
smile
for a second
i've lost my chance
to breathe
i'm drowning
in your
eyes
and i can't
think of a better
way to
die
emotions can overwhelm an individual until their own minds are lost
art
My emotions have spilled
In the form of paint
Onto masterpieces of old

Plastered on my face
Is a smile that hides
All negativity inside

I isolate myself
Far from attachments
I fall for art instead
made this for a friend who liked it, I hope you all like it too
Your hands fit
perfectly into my
skinny spaces
as if the
primary-school outline
of your palm
was drawn
just for me.
I am
imprisoned
in consciousness,
searching
for an
escape
