Detach, from the world,
Lost, in her own mind,
Why? Searching for an answer,
The girl wanders off,
The darkness is creeping up.

Broken, she is,
Without an answer,
Like shattered glass,
Irrepairable,
Consumed by her own grief,
She says goodbye,
For good.

bones
Beneath a dusty summers sun
rabbits sniff a loaded gun

that lies beside its owners feet
his muscles twitching as he sleeps

in peace upon the baking moor
the huntsman starts to gently snore

a snore that swiftly grows in size
until the rabbits eyes are wide

with wonder at the awful sound
that fills their ears and all around

they run and stumble and tumble and trip
against the gun and the trigger slips

BOOM

rabbits scatter the huntsman jumps
awake to find a smoking stump

of ragged leg without a foot
his lucky one
the rabbits took.
A tale of accidental revenge.

People are so oblivious.
We don't notice
the seconds ticking by
or the one falling leaf
or breaking heart
or millions of teary eyes.
We don't notice
the feet shuffling by
or the words we can't hear.
We are oblivious
to love.
There is someone out there,
who,
like you,
is searching and waiting
for the one second
where the oblivion
stops.

rain at sea
thunder soaks the hot air
with a suddenly clarity of light
and as the sound rolls off into vast distance
the waters of the sea change color
breeze becomes foretaste of wind
its strong heralding of approaching storm
makes a swift heart beat
makes the soul race in its desires
bend hand to line and sail
bend eye to breaking waters
never felt so alive
at sea
at sea
