I saw a quote today that said,
“One day you lose something, and you'll say:
‘Oh my God. I was happy.
And I didn’t even know it.’”

But then came the voice inside my head,
"That day you lost someone, and you thought:
'Oh my God. I was unhappy.
And I didn't even know it."

So today I found out that you don't just call anybody gorgeous..
And I also found out that when you're back in Dublin you want to go for drinks again..
But you want me to lie and say I'm sleeping at a friends.
The visions you've planted in my mind are beautiful.
I just really want to be with you.......
Really.

Its always there, in the back of my mind.
Not like anyone cares
Not like I care much for it either
But its always there

A desire, like a craving for something sweet
A want
A need

It pulls me in sometimes
It wont leave until its satisfied
It never is
I wont allow it

It makes me think
It keeps me sane and aware
It breaks me down and eats me inside


Id be confined
I would be left in isolation, away from those who believe in the illusion of safety

I wouldn't stop at just one
I couldn't have a limit once I begin
Why stop when I have already started?

stars flow through these leaky pipes
& i'm starting to wonder if the tattoos
on your back
are starting to face
or are the yellow lights
in our rooms
are just dimming down
maybe you should try drawing
on my wrists
again to stop them from itching
maybe i shouldn't make you
cold coffee anymore
maybe you should change
the dead bulbs in the house
or maybe i should dye my hair
to make you
love me
again

we say "freedom" but is that what's really going on here? Nobody is free from other people. Humans destroy each other like it's their second nature and the worst part is, they're relentless. Those people who love causing agonizing pain to others just don't get it. They have been broken into so many pieces that can't be found anywhere. The only way they gain their pieces back is by taking other peoples'. If you don't have happiness, why not take others away to make you temporarily content?
We aren't free from humans. The word "freedom" is just a euphemism for captivity within the human race.
