I see the trees trying to grow large enough to leave this place.
They were:
Hand-Holding-Plants
makinglovetopeace

We are:
as if  statues  building  one another
large enough
to destroy themselves

We are the wicked,
making love
to our sickness.
and when wicked
is the eye of the beholder
we build a great and terrible machine around us which we call Us.

It is the shaking scared skeleton of a forest rotting away from a place which beauty built in it's sleep.

the motion picture of the horror sequence of our mind.

The world bleeds out the fire of man

Born inside a seraphim skin
we abuse and build death
around our bodies
in connected piles on the ground.

waiting calmly.
coming in for the ****.

an anthill
vacated and caved in
until everything is finally
quiet and still.

you can not grow skin
on a mausoleum
and wait for it to breathe.

while you sit
and you wait
your own skin
will leave.

when nothing is left to die,
in that time;
no one is left to grieve.

Fire and water
Immortal mortal enemies
They've never seen
eye to eye

One turns the other
into cold dead ash
The other turns the other
into
evaporating  gas

The earth,
The universe
seems to love them both
equally

One catches us on fire
The other calms the burning ember

One gives us light
One gives us life

Fire and water
when they encounter each other
touch
connect
erupt
into
their exquisite
cosmic dance.

Like me
my garden is
wild and free.

                                   It meanders and swirls,
                                   no set paths,
                                   few straight lines

rather turns
and
curves
flowing, winding
movement

                                   ever changing
                                   ever emerging

gangly in places
graceful in others

                                     freedom
                                     the overall effect.

Like me
my garden is
wild and free.

                                    We created
                                     each other
                                     that way!

many interludes of laughter pealed
from a jovial kookaburra
who sat high on the elm tree's branch
gaily chortling to himself
as the dawning sun rose
of such merry tidings
the bird did bring
uplifting
was his
joy
######
he'd
given
the new day
a jolliness
the mood of much glee
making his chuckling tones
the sound great to listen to
enlivening the heart's spirits
with a bright awakening call
ever so happy in the morning staging

On days, when time is going too fast,
I can't catch up, and there're things i can't get past,
I'd pull a chair at the verandah....just sit there
To witness, the gentler goings on in life...
See, how...why  all plants face towards the sun,
On a dimly lit corner, watch a spider patiently spin its web,
Underneath the gravel and green grass, somehow,
The earthworm, painstakingly, bravely emerges,
Finds its way out of the soil...to remind us,
"...soil is healthy....it's time to plant!"
:::::
I feel, the beetle knows me, as it inches on,
Carrying its own body, crawling down the pine tree,
I won't ever grasp it, nor tie a string on its body
To control its range of movement,
As we do to tethered beasts of burden...
:::::
While sitting there, i decide: by all means,
Towards the flower ***, i  lean
Take time to smell a rose, feel its rough leaf
Not just a quick touch and sniff
But hold its thorny body, without daring to blink
While deep within, i'd let its fragrance sink
:::::
Some early evenings
When the cicadas' music are echoing
And the moths have started flying
Circling round the light at the ceiling,
I am warned...soon, it will be raining
And.....when it starts to rain, i keep listening
Til i'm soothed by the sound of rain...falling,
From sky to treetops.....flowing...landing
Next to the leaves......cascading down
To the concrete ground
Spreading quickly, far and deep...and as fate,
As nature would have it....the soil, without fail, waits...
:::::
Long time ago, we were small,
Curious and brave, we tasted glory, and all,
Armed with a child's innocence
And an insatiable hunger for learning...
Our eyes, our minds dilated,
Our brains were like sponge...
Like the soil.....we absorbed
All, that we discovered...
