Love a girl who writes
and live her many lives;
you have yet to find her,
beneath her words of guise.

Kiss her blue inked fingers,
forgive the pens that marked.
the stain of your lips upon her-
the one she can't discard.

Forget her tattered memories,
or the pages others took;
you are her ever after
the hero of her book

My name is signed between my skin
In ink for words we say but don't take in
They write a new name on every whim
And my blue ink skin it blends right in

We break out of our cages in succession of escape
Say words lacking meaning but then we mean them in the end
They shove us into paper boxes and leave ***** agape,
Yet with possibilities of freedom we lay eyes shut and pretend.

A box and a pen in collision of our thoughts
Until we become one with the blue ink they sought

I don't believe that any body on this site is aware of my recent diagnosis of Huntington Disease and I wanted to get the chance to let  all of you guys know and even though it has been a while since I have written anything new I still wanted to share it with you guys. I will let you guys know more as things progress but if you have any questions to ask about it just shoot me a message in this post and I will try to answer them as honestly as possible. I have come to enjoy your poetry and I have appreciated any positive comments you have left on my poetry too so I at least wanted to give you guys the heads up about it and where I am at with it.

your poem is
or the reasons
it came about
it is here so
shout it out
climb to the top
of the mountain
and scream hey world!!
and when you
did that
write again
and stay proud

Your poems were the one that made
Me write more and more
You are such a humble soul
You appreciate
In the most sweetest ways
Your words have always been sugar
They always made sense
But now I don't find you anymore
I miss you dear
You were the first to welcome me with Your sweetest comments on this site
I've always said..you are too good to be true
I miss your poetry dear
The lady with the rose..
:(
Another day falling
from the crack of yesterday,

a patch of pearl
burning in the amber west
flaring up heaven
firing me up
in the pains of solitude
and poetry.

Home beckons through a dark way
where hope breathes eternal
as lanterns of moonlit leaves.

I won't mourn the loss
but fill all the void
with paper and ink.

I am so sorry I have not been online here  at Hello Poetry! I have been very remiss. My father has been taking up a lot of my time, and my mother is not doing well either. She can't get around the way she used to. It's taking a toll on me. There is another factor, also. I renewed my account on Facebook. I've been on there in the little time that I have. And I have been neglecting this site. I am so sorry!

I have family on Facebook. So I'm going to remain on that site more than Hello Poetry. If you have a Facebook account you can look me up... Cathy Jarvis. My avatar is the same as it is here. I still post poetry on there. I wish I could clone myself! I wish I had more time! But circumstances make it very difficult.

Thank you for understanding. I'm going to keep my account here, and read and post where I can. I love you all very much!

I PRAY FOR YOU STILL!

GOD BLESS YOU!

Alone in the room,
my hands are stained
with poetry.
