of trifling light
Flitting petal
blue-purple-gray
emerged from asphalt's
heated slumber
to lead some airy way--

Dinners doctors
Bingo
Hospitals
and the
Social whirl
No time
for rhyme

we are the dunes formed
by prevailing desert winds
of people and time

An eternal pain
In an hour span

Mountains stand higher than we can build.

Dark rooms
with blacked-out windows.

Im the most
successful
Failure
Of myself

Sometimes
Any opportunity comes our way
In disguise of a terribly dark face,
But as we hug it humbly
It smiles and lives with us.
