Today I sit and reflect

I realized that
I am a small
fish in the pond

but you forget that you’re

inspiring it

The angels' harps play a sacred tune,
while planets dance around the moon;
In subtle strains our spirits rise,
and leave us grateful and starry-eyed.

Recalling life as it once seemed,
this vision floated inside a dream;
In many days of endless chants,
the angels' harps cause us to dance.

When voices touch each other's hearts,
there's always a sign creating sparks;
And with that strong secure emotion,
then lives connect with pure devotion.

No longer chilled in fears of life,
all folks fly far away from strife;
The added wealth of kinship stands,
as children sing while holding hands.

Moon hangs from
your eyes in black dreams.
Wolves run into the woods.

The human touch was
waning. I will follow the arc of
pain. Man becomes fish.

After the drill I ask to
dismantle all man made palaces.
It is time to worship rocks.

She does not ask me

The fear

she often finds herself awake in the middle of the night. solace with indigo skies. how the universe breathes the same breath as her. contracting and expanding until the hues of dark fade.

It’s a vital red
A scorpion’s sting
A piercing and
Unending scream
It ripped apart the
Heart of me
And still it
Goes on running

gently
so gently
you pulled the
threads loose,
set me free

but the relief lasted
barely a moment -
you tied me to
you, chained me,
and even after
you decided
you didn't want me
anymore

you left me
with the shackles
and the bruises
and the empty bed
and the sheets
that still smell
like you.

You placed a band of gold on my finger
Your ring matches exactly
We share our lives together
I love you beyond measure and if ever they measure that it wouldn't be large enough or high enough
