Not knowing - you and I,
Beyond the planes of physical realm,
An unsaid bond, a baffling tie,
Holds hearts close, overwhelms.

Magnetic pull, an iron hold,
Spanning several seasons,
A bond strong, love in it's folds
Defying logic and reason.
In your hands I place my hand,
Of yours but a reflection,
Writ beyond the laws of land,
The tug of Karmic connection.

Not knowing...you and I,
Beyond tangible reality,
Unanswered how, unanswered why,
Unfathomable affinity.
Spanning distance, spanning time,
Across the universe,
Like hearts, like minds,
That quietly converse.

In your thoughts I see my own,
Of my mind a reflection,
Knowing  I was never alone -
The pull of a Karmic connection.

Standing, in the gathering darkness
in the fading light of the bleeding sun,
Hooded and cloaked,
amongst the dying trees
Golden cursed tears of scattered forever,
Falling from white eyes,
ringed in black
Decisions to stay held
aloft,
A leaf blown through out time on the breeze of
Eternity
Or,
To wake a heart, cursed with forever
Knowing
That the bearer of such a cursed heart
Will fade, as the colour of a rose lain upon an immortal grave
Dying trees can't speak
and reflections held in mortal tears
Evaporate~A

He said "Yes"
I said "Okay."
But I really wasn't listening
to what he had to say
I was looking through the past
with yellow tinted lenses
When you have been driven out
they don't let you sneak back in

So we will build a green bricked wall
that smells just like money
After all this is the land
of milk and honey

After a long lifetime
I'm sure it broke his heart
to see the promised land
from the mountain top
The new land lay before him
But his time had come to part

Forty years with cloud by day
A pillar of fire at night
Jesus spent his forty days
in the desert wondering about .

Satan took Him to his mountain top
Promised him the world
"No thank you Satan
I'll give Heaven now that whirl ."

You see it was Jesus that said "Yes"
When I uttered that "okay"
He looked at me and then he said
"I see you have a lot to learn
before you come back home one day."
Everyone has their deserts to cross and their mountains to climb .

She loved Pan,
Adored him,
Wanted so much for him to
Dwell,
Deep,
Within her
But Tink,
so small
And Pan,
Well, he was Pan
He loved the Wendi Bird
So,
Tink
was happy for the mere chance
to rest
in Pan's pocket
And he carried her there.....
For you, my Pan. I'm happy, just to rest in your pocket and see you as I wish;)

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps.

I don't know why nobody told you
How to unfold your love
I don't know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you.

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps.

I don't know how you were diverted
You were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
No one alerted you.

These were two verses from a demo version of the song that didn't make the final recorded version:

"I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
Problems you sow are the troubles you're reaping
Still my guitar gently weeps
I look at the trouble and hate that is raging
While my guitar gently weeps
As I'm sitting here, doing nothing but ageing
Still my guitar gently weeps"

And then this verse which came from another take of the song and is now included on the Love Album

"I look from the wings at the play you are staging
While my guitar gently weeps
As I'm sitting here doing nothing but ageing
Still my guitar gently weeps"
"I wrote While My Guitar Gently Weeps at my mother's house in Warrington. I was thinking about the Chinese I Ching, the Book of Changes... The Eastern concept is that whatever happens is all meant to be, and that there's no such thing as coincidence - every little item that's going down has a purpose.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps was a simple study based on that theory. I decided to write a song based on the first thing I saw upon opening any book - as it would be a relative to that moment, at that time. I picked up a book at random, opened it, saw 'gently weeps', then laid the book down again and started the song." GH
