Robin  Redbreast  one  fine  day.
Hopped  across  the  lawn  to  play.
*****  opened  one  large  eye.
A  juicy  morsel  he  did  spy.
*****  rolled  into  a  ball.
So  Robin  felt  no  fear  at  all.
But  *****  had  some  evil  thoughts.
To  grab  poor  Robin  by  his  coat.
Robin  ventured  very  near.
Right  under  *****'s  nose,  oh  dear.
*****  sprang  up  full  of  glee.
He  wanted  Robin  for  his  tea.
Robin  said:  You'll  not  catch  me.
And  flew  into  the  nearest  tree.
*****  followed  him  in  haste.
And  through  the  branches  he  did  chase.
Robin  opened  up  his  wings.
Tweet,  he  cried,  good  day.
*****  growled  and  spat.
Robin  flew  away.

Sat  on  a  bench  today.
Taking  in  the  suns  rays.
Surrounded  by  a  host
of  spring  flowers.
So  peaceful.
Hope  it's  here  to  stay.

Spring  the  great  awakening.
After  the  winter  slumbers.
Everything  springs  to  life.
Animals,  birds, and  all
the  wonderful  spring  flowers.
Trees  slowly  starting  to  bud.
Even  humans  start  to  stir,
out  of  a  winter  trance.
A  truly  magical  time.

I come from where the flowers don't grow

As dark a place as that.

I come from where the flowers don't grow

A place streaming with black rats,

Herded together they roar in flow

Of teeth and fleas

So all who sees

Will scatter.

No matter.

I come from where the flowers don't grow

I gain my sight

When the moon doth glow.

Shall I talk of Mistress Moon
Or her sisters the stars
Etching their endless orbits
On the black of space and night

Or should I talk of Brother Sun
Who brings the daytime on his own
Making the unseen seen again
And opening flowers to smiles

Without the dark of night
Separated from the bright of day
Our world would just exist
In a constant shade of grey

There's something about
that new weatherlady

in her form-fitting dress
not too short or so long

she's got that Kardashian
thang going on

******* like cumuli

waiting on a strong
Southern breeze
to stir up a warm front.

Lose not hope my friend
For even the butterfly was once a caterpillar
Today it flies around with pride
Displaying it's wonderful hues and incredible beauty
But not too long ago it was a creepy crawley
So remember you might be crawling today
But some day you shall soar
So keep trying and don't give up
For all good things in life take time

Caroline loves the ocean.
Her soul sails on a Carolina breeze.
But her music's in the mountains,
and her heart's back home
where it needs to be.

I'm stuck here
in a Carolina wind,
wading in the ocean
with my heart in Tennessee,
and my mind on Caroline.

Carolina's got everything
a man could want.
Everything he needs.
It's got the mountains and the ocean.
It has a Carolina breeze.

He has everything but Caroline;
everything but Tennessee.

Poetictunes
I can smell the fragrance of the sun while beaming on my face.
So heavenly and refreshing.
An aroma I never smelled before,
It made me smile and blush.
Hiding behind the clouds, so coy.
The sun peeked and smiled on me.

and I once found in a meadow filled with flowers
daffodils violets small and sunflowers a
ratio
of small tall and upright
much as the golden ratio
divided just right in the faces of sunlight
and shade and dark and bright and yellows
happy and reds passionate
and a blue occasional
and an orange to **** the view

Aged three score and ten

The old man walked

Onwards and upwards

laborious and slow

to the foothills of the Himalayas

Once there seated quiet

Amid the hush

His aging mind wandered

The collective unconscious

Letting go of earthly need

Intuition planted a seed

He prayed for wisdom, love and peace

All the earthbound wars to cease

His spirit soared

With shoals of souls

Awash in roar and flow

Then he saw the passing of time

watched his body age and decline

Learned that though we may come

From a different place

We are all connected through the human race

Then felt his body at one with a tree

As the cherry blossom fell gracefully
