I am like a crooked little Christmas tree.
My trunk is bent.
Branches are broken off.
In various places.
My needles are drying up.
And falling off.
Imperfect.
Flawed.
Broken.
Misshapen.
Distorted by sin.

And yet...
Still He loves me.
Because He bought me.
For a very high price.
The Blood of His Son.
Still He loves me.
In all my twistedness.
In all my waywardness.
Because He owns me.

I am like a crooked Christmas tree.
But He still puts His Light upon me.
And adorns me with His Love.
Transforming me.
From broken.
From crooked.
To beautiful.
Inspired by the book: "The Crooked Christmas Tree," by Damian Chandler.

Jesus, may whatever I say and
Whatever I do, wherever I go
May all be to honor your name
May the day begin with your name
In my way and my going
May all that I say be to honor you
More than all else be to your glory
Praising you, Jesus, praising your name
Praising because you are the glory
Thanking you for all that do, Jesus

We worship, adore you with
Praise we glorify
We bow down, praying to be
Made one in your ways
We love you above all, grateful
You are our King
Come hear us, Jesus, while we sing
To adore and worship
All that you are in this world
We love you, Jesus with joy to
Uphold you
With all that we are to bring
Worthy our lives before you

Spirit of the Living God
Breath of Heaven, holy nod
Settle on my soul tonight
In your presence I delight
Paraclete and God’s great guide
May the gates of Heaven be opened wide
Teach me how to act and speak
To speak life to the dying and give strength to the weak
My heart is open my mind is free
My soul is still and I am eager to see
The message of love for the world I bear
To plainly show just how much you care
Holy Spirit rest now and burn hot within
Set me ablaze and let the spreading begin
Live inside me fill and overflow
Lead me as you will be with me as I go
Under your sight may I grow in wisdom and grace
That one day I would be honored by seeing Jesus’ face
You take us out beyond the seas and land
To a place of faith and trust to find our savior’s hand
Beyond our understanding to see with the faith of a child
That when we did you looked at us and smiled
You move as the wind sometimes quiet and still
Were I at sea on a boat, my sails you would fill
You are water freely flowing; raining down upon the earth
You are joy and laughter comfort and mirth
Of the Holy Trinity you are least understood
And so many don’t give you the time and reverence we should
Flood our lives with your presence Oh Holy One Of God Most high
May we never have too much and may the well never run dry
Come to us Oh Spirit Divine
Transform the gifts of wheat and wine
Bear our gifts to Heaven and place them at Jesus feet
That they return as blood to drink and flesh to eat
Through this greatest mystery of love
May we join our voices with the angels above
To praise the one to took on flesh
And showed us love even beyond death
That we may one day rise with Him again
To praise and glorify Him and forever say Amen

Come those who love Jesus
Come those who hear Jesus
Calling out to us to follow Him
Come humbled and contrite
Come to praise before the throne
Never to be alone when we take
A stand for the God of our souls
Rejoice, rejoice and be one in the Lord
Rejoice and come to worship the King
Come and kneel down, kneel at His throne
Singing praises to honor the Lord

Come awake my soul
Come awake in love
I call You justice in hopelessness
Strong tower in the midst of roaring oceans.

There’re sleepless children on the street
Lying lips in abandonment
Redemption seems to have no beauty
Purpose in debris in the cellar of doubt.

One thirst, one pangs of hunger
Freedom has no speech
Oh come unto the Nations
Bring healing to the City of bones.

Our landmark is Your territory
As You left Your throne but You’re never dethroned
Sin and death were left with no pride
No chains of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Death has no beauty until Your blood was shed
Birth has no meaning until You conquered the grave
You tore away the veil of sickness
Everything You restore
Like nothing was stolen.

Your power assures me I am free
There’s no condemnation, I am loved by You
Filled in You, I am found in Your Truth
Drowning in grace,
You’re my Living Proof.

You break the chains
As we confess Your Name
Now, victory has a Name
Love has a Name
Jesus is His Name!

Grey mirror
I shut myself down
I no longer want to frown.
So I leave my life under your control.
I have a renewed Spirit in my soul.
My journey has just begun
I'm sailing towards the sun.
I'll fight the fears
I'm not alone...
Lord you wiped my tears.
My fate has set a course,
Your Love is my resource.
This time I will survive.
I'm no longer fragile
My strength is *found in You
Psalm 119:28
My soul melteth for heaviness, strengthen me according unto thy word.
