The silence roars...

No one can reach me.

My soul calls out to an empty void.

Do you hear my cries?

I am like the lone wolf

Howling into the night

Going out of my mind

For the company of my kind.

Like a ***** in search of a friend,

I'll just keep whistling to the end.

towering gently overflowing with heightened awareness
subtle hints of blade’s keen glittering chiseled edges
untamed rugged surface powerfully averts gale’s acrid tempest
vigor pulsating that doth persuade the cloud’s reflections
if i shall not again embrace a meager glimpse; a demure echo
of thine towering mounts my soul shall ever suffer

my spirit soars with e'er one glance of thine majestic presence
replete with reminiscence seasons stir and beg thine tender mercies
to house the changing leaves at dusk of autumn’s auburn portraits
and give birth to crystal snow cascading peripherally in winter
which melding into spring then begs thy bluffs to cover
in soft amethyst of columbine blossoming first light of summer

‘tis not paramount to scale high aloft thine peaks in escalation
for small sheer glances stamp forever with imperial impressions
and ‘tho i’ve traveled ‘round and savored nature’s varied essence
none can compare thine evergreens laced in aspens nuance
my breath is gone and shan’t return ‘til in thy shadow casting
i stand and look upon thine hallowed face the rocky mountains

Heavy lavender blossoms, lifted
by sudden rushes of night wind.

Jacaranda, her scented branches swept into
dancing alone under the only streetlight.

Hiding further in the dark, bushes of
kumquat fruits, ripely orange,
tempt me to taste them.

In the deep blue air, first stars create
orbs of light beyond themselves,
glowing hugely in the sultry, silent sky.

All the beauty in life
By Lisa Noe

Make the ordinary beautiful,
Find something in every day,
Something that you love.
Give a blessing for all that you see.

There’s a sunflower smiling at the sun.
A butterfly flutters over the yellow flowers,
And a bird glides across the sky gracefully.
He says “See I make all things new”.

Orange and gold leaves tumbling to the ground,
Falling upon a wooden barn of red.
Water tumbles over the cliffs,
And a babbling brook is a peaceful sound.

These are the gifts bestowed to man
By one omnipotent God
Trees of pink and white, purple, and green
Grass so thick, lush and green

Dogs and cats, elephants and horses,
Ducks and fish we are grateful for these;
All around us is life and beauty it seems
Lets have hope and faith and most of all love.

This is our life it is given by God.
To us the dominion over the earth
Thank goodness for these things,
They are the meaning of life.

love life and give thanks!
If you're ever on the riverside
where the sun beats your head
you would see the old man
selling hats of palm leaf
but you care not to notice him
having already smelled the sea
and too keen to cross the river
travel southward on the island
till the saline wind scalds your eyes
your skins itch to jump into the waves
yet the man with the palm leaf hats
would not cease to tell you
how burning would be the sun on the sands
and so badly you need to protect the head
by parting bucks that mean nothing to you
but a world to the mouths he feeds
and before you stamp on him a final no
she has one atop her hair
beneath which her eyes flutter like butterflies
her sun rouged cheeks untimely blush
and two born anew lovers
merrily head for the sea
having bought romance
for forty bucks.
A year or so from now,
when you hear thunder in the sky,
pretend it is me talking to you.

Think of me, from time to time.
Remember me, remember me.
When a song plays that was
one of my favourites, sing along
with it for me. Sing loud and clear.
I'll be with you. I'll be with you.

Do not grieve for long. Instead,
play again those funny moments
when life was long and years
of sharing stretched ahead.
Hear the humour we shared,
and smile again at old jokes.

A year or so from now,
when you are looking at pictures,
see again how happy we were.

These are what matter, I think.
The joyful seconds that make
the mundane easy to bear.
Those scattered, silly
laughing things that stay
eternally present in the mind.

We are only hands that clap
in harmony for a limited time.
Touches of spaces that are
full of vigour, than are empty.
Hesitant to leave what we
know, knowing it must be so.

A year or so from now,
remember me. Remember me.

This lighthearted word that makes you want to look up
to see the allure and intrigue that the sky holds

Every collection of soft, fluffy whiteness opens the door
to another portal for the imagination

They shift expand and disperse like most things in life
with a much faster pace

I watch as they gently meld into one another
Then fade into blue
the grandest magic show I have ever seen

And off on the horizon
this sumptuous mound
seems to grow from the core
of the planet

Reaching higher with more light and luminance than all the rest combined I watch as it coats the sky for as far as the eye can see

Wrapped in the glorious hues of the setting sun
in the midst of heaven
I see you

I left behind that place of dying
And entered the damp dark world of the woods
Sitting alone in the rain, dark thoughts in my mind
But then I realized, the forest was alive
The rustle of small unseen creatures in the leaves
Butterflies flitting in pale sunshine now breaking through the clouds
Best of all, birds singing their sweet refrain
It was then I realized that life has to go on
Even in your darkest moment, life is still worth living
The sea is calm tonight,
    The sky is clear,
        And the moon lies fair.
           The world glimes,
Still,in sun's absence.
Come to the window,
Sweet is in the night air!
Where the moon meets the land;
        It will be almost dawn.
       For the world seems
          To lie before us
      Like a land of dreams.
