As luck would have it,
there she was
peeking just around the corner
from behind the moon
breathing softly
but breathing love

As luck would have it,
for she smiled at me
and every time she smiled
God spoke through her eyes
conveying everything
through her eyes

As luck would have it,
her visage of gold beamed
with chalcedony colors
that pierced through my heart
and I couldn't help it
exuberantly smile with sheer joy
every now and again

As a strange dark fate had it,
it dawned on me
she was discreetly decamping
fading yonder onyx skies
leaving me a desolate
down the dumps
and a lonesome wanderer
only wishing to ever
catch her glimpse

A poem embedded with lyrics to one of my cracking song by the title of
"I heard a faint whisper"

some nights
I dream of worlds
that must have come from childhood fairy tales

people work happily in various trades
politicians are actually fighting for their citizens
to make life easier and more rewarding

skin color does not matter
    nor does religious orientation
a person’s character creates distinction

women don’t live in fear of getting *****
nobody is sold into slave labor or prostitution
education is of high quality and free
    from grade school to college
financed by affluent corporations
whose shareholders just get a bit less

when I wake up
I recognize
the dream was just a dream

our reality is different

There's a full moon tonight.
I hope you look up and gaze at it.

That way, I can say we've done something
together.

Dreams began in the woods*
Led by the white of the moon
A feather-light passerby

Even in the shadow of the moon I feel a light
I feel alright
Maybe if I wait tomorrow comes
But there are horizons
And there is an island
Tonight
I build a bridge

I cannot sing without your name
I cannot
I cannot dream of my becoming
only become the love I'm wanting

Tonight
I search for light

I find such words
So empty and meaningless
They possess no special gift
Nor do they craft
A love as a perilous journey
Or dream aloud in bliss

So freely we fly
Unpredictable skies
Crash indeed we may
On poetic wings
We express our falls
And fly again
  Just the same...

Please, do not concede.
do not be misled
thru the harrowing crowds
of the disappointed.

Trust in the sky.
Study how flowers breathe.
Practice the art of the unafraid.
To be truth manifested
in your body.
And listen to the Sun.
Its endless knowledge
reflected in you.

Let the earth be your sacred
ground to discover so that
you will have tasted
what it means to be
immortal and alive.

I can see you through this heavenly body
Eternal static to me
is death and life to you
A spec of light
An ocean with depths completely untouched by human skin
My heart beats with anticipation
Sweat beading and tear falling
Hands shaking and thoughts racing
I'd tell you I'm sorry
I'd tell you I didn't know my strength
I'd beg for forgiveness for
exploiting your weaknesses
like a glass bottle broken into a children's sandpit, like a design so flawed
You lived with it.
I can't live with this.

I saw you.
I was intrigued by you.
I kissed you.
I wanted you.
I wanted to be there for you.
I love you.
I want to spend my life with you.
I promised I'd return to you.
I have been so far away from you.
I miss you.
I haven't heard from you.
Do I even trust you?
I have been ignored by you.
These open wounds were made by you.
Still I miss you.
I still lay awake thinking of you.
I don't want to know who's sleeping with you.
I pity those who fall for you.
Thank god I finally see you.
I cannot stand the sight of you.
I love you but I will learn to hate you.
I deserve better than you.
It really ***** when you have been deployed for seven months and the woman you love cheats on you.

Women, how I hate your kind sometimes.
