A group of black clouds
gathered,
they had come to be together -
for the blue sky, had sadly,
just passed away,

The Sun
switched its warm,
radiant, bright light off -
paying respect to the memory
of another lost,
perfect Summer's day.

Heaven's gates stood
with arms wide open,
Heaven
flooded the grounds
below
with heavy,
warm tears of rain,

Upon these warm tears stopping,
A delightful,
sensationally bright,
hope-filled,
glowing rainbow
miraculously came forth -
A sign
that Summer's rain—Heaven's warm tears,
were not, at all, in vain.

There was a handmade cake on my table
and a letter with immature hand:

I start with this
but know that
whenever and wherever I bake a cake
you'll be in my mind.

It tasted not that sweet
I remember
and she was never to make another
in my corners of bitter December.

I have no other Christmas memory.

There couldn't be.
In remembrance of a girl who could not be a woman, but was almost, as God withdrew the angel too soon.
Interwoven with my Christmas memory.

That instant
when everything
equals
everything else
just before nothing
equals
anything else
again.

in the dark
compass spinning
wanton wind
howling, wailing
brittle arms
in concert waving
emerald waters
whipped and raging

sky crushed velvet
sequins sewn tight
to the shattered
span of night
a million times
each time as new
with stardust eyes
with gratitude

I don't trust myself or anybody else,
Lost in the thoughts that run
rings around my head.
Trying to keep up
as my brain slips into its comatose state.
No room left to feel
so my hearts begins to disappear.
Death is my friend,
welcoming with open arms and a sly grin.
He knows that I will slowly sink into his depths.
Lost beyond all hope,
as darkness eats me inside out
I cannot,
will not scream or shout,
for help
Or mercy.

i hope one day
i could stop
staring at the stars
in your eyes

to look away
to finally look up
and see the whole universe
beyond my sight.
focusing on something too much may cause us to neglect and not see what else is out there.
