When here
Is nearer than near

In this moment
I tell myself

This framed picture
Bordered with and by others

Its next stop is non-stop
travelling time and space

How about some of that
You take the high road

While I take the low one
Our destination a place in the sun

In this space
In this time

Today is just another whistle stop
Followed by tomorrow's next flip flop

Day and night are  just opposites,
yet complementary ad infinitum,
sans any trace of discord, perfectly fit;
everything one comes across in life
is uniquely meaningful, let's not forget.

You dream.
You dream like me.
I dream.
I dream of you.
Submit.
Admit to twilight swirls,
You dream,
You dream like me.

During the night,
Out of the blue,
Not always,
Yet always,
In the most unusual settings:
The dreamer and the dream concur
The reality is not so sure.

There's those you expect to see,
Leaning into conversations;
There's others there
We want to talk to,
The scene eludes you,
Trying to get through.

The conversatin goes nowhere:
A room full of comfort people
We're surprised to see.

We think it not quite possible,
But the talk makes us believe
These unreal cacophones,
You see,
You dream,
I dream too.

That was the end
of her holy affair,

when she knelt, out of habit
and felt fresh air

finding the gaps
where her gods once were

like light finds the edge of a door
when it's not shut so tight as before..

Everyone is telling me
They are giving up on TV
Too much propaganda they say

Yet they **** up those Hollywood films
They allow their emotions to be stirred
They say to themselves 'give 'em hell'

I must admit I do watch movies
I like to think I watch with a discerning eye
I like a good story but maybe I pollute myself

It's so easy sometimes to fool ones self
The ego is a slippery ***** of self righteousness
Being aware of what  'IS'  24/7 is more than hard

I hear people say 'what comes around goes around'
And I wonder if they think past this life
Karma knows no timeline in the way I understand it

The big questions are the ones that have no clear answer
That is not to say that they have no answer
That's not to say I don't have to look for the answer

'Seek and you shall find' puts the responsibility on me
'Row row row your boat gently down the stream
Merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream'

It's time to wake up from the nightmare
The thoughts you think the feelings you feel
They are strong medicine or they are a sick mind

It's hard not to judge but what you do when you notice
Makes all the difference in the Universe
Thank God I can change my thoughts
There's some propaganda for you.

I will not bow down
To defeat.
I storm ahead and
Won't retreat.
I am the captain
Of this fleet.

The storms may rage
Beneath my feet,
But in this race
I will compete.
I will not bow down
To defeat.
Reposting for the first time as this is very relevant to me right now **
he said that we will die,
as all things will die,
go back to nature.

i agreed.

he will remember me.

the whole family,
returned in the evening
cooler, cleared the hay
from the graveyard.

it was hot, so
i layed a cold
flannel on
his head.

I wish upon wishes
I wish all the
time

If wishes were horses
than beggars would ride
This is something we've known
for a
long long
time

But still I put
wishes on stars
and
go along
for the ride
whispering out to the great unknown
listening and wishing
for
another story untold

But
of all the wishes
I could bestow
I wish for that peace
we all
wish
to know.
If wishes were horses is a 16th Century English nursery rhyme

truth be told,
I am not that bold.
It is a jab into my eye,
a reality full of lies that my mom blames this distress.
Hold on, I can't tell black from white. Might as well be blind, I can predict even the scenic route that people doubt. My whereabouts are no longer in a crowd, standing with witnesses is unhealthy for me.
I want privacy, isn't being alone key anyways? Who is to care
if I write "Beware" or just  stare. In the end, there is this sentence left to bare. Always interpreting the language I so rarely speak. Energy may flow for others, but I am not a plug one can spark by lousy remarks.

Words on paper
That's all I write
Nothing more to give insight

Words on paper
That's all it is
Do not fashion my words more than this

I do not write from my heart
My brain and it
They stay apart

My brain and my body
They go hand in hand
Searching the Internet for words to become
The Google master of this land

For if my brain and heart
Decided one day to not be apart
What a horrifically sad poem they'd write
How then just one word
Would bring a tear to the eye

So words on paper
That's all I will write
Until my eyes grow heavy
Till I succumb to the night

Words on paper
That's what I will do
*For I will not waste my heart's words
Lamenting over you
Just words....right?
#lament #words #you #mind #heart
