Snowflakes fall softly
On my pathway of lonely
life's cold without you

As I'm sitting, sitting waiting,
As all my thoughts are congregating,
I find my mem'ries to be tainting,
Forgetting about my Charlotte May.

At Minerva's School of Pristine Boarding,
We first began our timid courting,
And it was clear that she was hoarding,
My heart belonged to Charlotte May.

We got married in December,
Rung in the new year close together,
But soon after she got the letter,
The letter drafted Charlotte May.

They sent her back in shrouds of silver,
No longer living just to wither,
And her coffin made me shiver,
Deep in the ground was Charlotte May.

As I'm sitting, sitting waiting,
Lonely, lost, and always hating,
I realise my thoughts are fading,
Fading away like Charlotte May.

But I remain here, quite unchanging,
The scenes around me rearranging,
My days filled up with hoping, praying,
Until I reach the final day,

And I return to Charlotte May.

Tryst
Insipid hour I dread your looming call
Condemned waiting for thee inside this cell
My days will end when finally I fall
Down the abyss as summoned by your knell

In life the mornings ever found me bright
An endless optimist of no reproach
So how I fear your vast and empty night
My mind asunder doomed at your approach

I beg a dream to fill the lonely void
To reach inside to see beyond the veil
Yet even sweetest dreams are still devoid
Compared to morning light they shine so pale

Consciousness fails, my soul is yours to plunder
Until the morning saves me from deep slumber

You tell us to be ourselves
you tell us to be free
that we own our lives
that our mistakes are ours to make
and yet you still hold us back
and yet you yell when we arent you
when we dont do what you want us to
when we arent as perfect as you
but are you even perfect?
but who is ever perfect?
No one is ever perfect
no one is ever going to be perfect
so stop expecting us to be
so stop treating us like the lesser
like we have no idea what we are doing
like we are children
we are adults
we are ourselves
just like you are
just like you wanted us to be
us the new adults of the world
us the future of the human race
know how to live our lives
know how to ask for help when we need it
can make our own decisions
can fail on our own
but we dont have to fail,
but we also dont need you breathing down our necks
leave us alone
leave us to live
our own lives like we are meant to
our own mistakes to make
cant we all just get along
cant we just live in peace together
instead of constantly fighting
instead of the forever war in our relationship
we are adults
we are people
treat us like we are
treat us like we are
and we will treat you like you are
and we will learn how to be in our future
be the example we need
be the people we look up to
dont be the people we hate
dont be our enemies
let us join together
as adults
and rule this world
together
parents and children together.
I have been fighting with my parents a lot since i have turned 18. so i wrote this sort of slam poetry as a way of me speaking my mind

Tryst
Oh sweet Erato, whither wanders thee?
Once fertile leas lay arid near the shore,
The ripened fruit now withers on the tree
And shadows linger ever at the door.
Did ancient Colchis summon thee by name
To strum a lyre and sing for Argonauts?
Wouldst Rhodius be aught of any fame
If not bestowed resplendent with your thoughts?
Or yet - perchance you ride a chariot,
Thru roses red and myrtle evergreen,
To find the place Leontichus was set
Eternally beside his love Rhadine?
Oh sweet Erato, whither would you choose --
Be free for e'er, or else to be a muse?

Tryst
Her fabric wove from finest silken thread
Imbued with strands of sweet capricious fate,
Her footfalls echo sounds that mortals dread
As onwards, with her ne’er unchanging gait,
Since dawn awoke her with a small request
To witness all that was, and that will be,
She's journeyed forth with ne’er a pause to rest
And on anon she runs eternally --
Would that I could contrive to halt her stride,
Unwinding threads to weave another song
And meeting self, could overcome his pride,
Relating how and where he got it wrong --
Should good advice from him be mine to take,
I fear my doom, to live the same mistake.

How dare you.
How dare you steal my heart.
How dare you steal my sleep.
How dare you invade my dreams.
How dare your cloud my thoughts.
How dare you let me fall in love with you.
I am NOT in love.

The sea is flecked with bars of grey,
The dull dead wind is out of tune,
And like a withered leaf the moon
Is blown across the stormy bay.

Etched clear upon the pallid sand
Lies the black boat:  a sailor boy
Clambers aboard in careless joy
With laughing face and gleaming hand.

And overhead the curlews cry,
Where through the dusky upland grass
The young brown-throated reapers pass,
Like silhouettes against the sky.

An unspoken love luster in their eyes
As bodies, warm within a fiery heat
Where the magic of two, adjoin as one
In bonds of true love, melting together

As passions stimulate, burning desires
As unspoken love, luster in their eyes
Ardent, kisses with swirling sensations
To wet palate, like a fine wine to taste

With moving metaphor’s, loves poetry
Nestled in embrace, till sun awakens
An unspoken love, luster in their eyes
Intimate warming sensations, exposed

Within a wave of sighs, as we release
Oh sweet rhymes, hearts rapidly beat
One final time, eyes meet, in pleasure
An unspoken love, luster in their eyes

Your rain kissed lips tastes oh so sweet
Filled with your love I feel complete
That smile of yours is a real treat
When we embrace it’s all night long
In your arms I know I belong

That time we met, love at first sight
Those soft eyes openly invite
Your poetry I loved outright
This love we share will last lifelong
Our foundation we built is strong

Your love overflows in my veins
Oh how we love it when it rains
Water on your skin, your skin retains
Wet and moist each time our tongues meet
Your rain kissed lips tastes oh so sweet!

( Sonnet )*

I once caught you naked by the sea,
No one noticed, such noble shyness,
Invited to worlds, aloof as sun breeze,
Of purple sands, heathered highness.

In novae of your eyes was shipwreck,
Forlorn beacon chiding the weary lost
Of new worlds lumbered on the decks,
Seabirds caroled up wing, heavens' loft.

Skin, fleshy of netted eel, salt and foam,
Was hide for a brigand, lubbers sessions,
Sheered by sheen, blinding sky of gloam,
Stars runged on their draped processions.

My seal, now fate, cloak within jubilance;
Coral sea wave, slips under moon dance.
In Celtic myth, if a man steals a female selkie's skin she is in his power and is forced to become his wife.  Female selkies are said to make excellent wives, but because their true home is the sea, they will often be seen gazing longingly at the ocean.  Sometimes, a selkie maiden is taken as a wife by a human man and she has several children by him.

Selkies (also spelled silkies, selchies; Irish/Scottish Gaelic: selchidh, Scots: selkie fowk) are mythological creatures found in Scottish, Irish, and Faroese folklore.  Selkies are said to live as seals in the sea but shed their skin to become human on land. The legend is apparently most common in Orkney and Shetland and is very similar to those of swan maidens.
