A cold winter night
Pieces of coal are burning
My eyes watering*

Having a Barbecue!!!
I'm done
The words not there
The well is dry
What to do
What to do

Do all know,
the agony of,
the parched soul,
of the time,
of never raining

Where does,
the rain abide,
released by storms,
deluges bringing,
undesired by many

Hope for rain,
dance for rain,
leaping into clouds,
ascending, grasping,
for the rain

Please Lord,
Send a gentle rain,
water for the flowers,
of the soul
Pray for rain
Pray for rain

Reading other laments, I know I'm not the only one who hopes for rain!

Unwanted
Unavoidable
Undeniable

The flame within still burns
It burns dimly yet
It burns me

I can not endure the pain
Yet when i attempt to put out the flame
It scars me

You scar me

I love the idea of healing,
But I'm not just suffering from symptoms,
I am the sickness,
Punching myself black and blue,
Refusing to stop until I'm soaking red.
I'm better off suffering from the thing that kills me,
Than cutting away parts of me until useless fragments remain.
Like the captain that goes down with his ship,
I will never see salvation from this point onward.
This disease has seeped into my cells
And now I'm more sickness than human.
If I took away the biggest part of me,
What would I be left with, but emptiness?
if you don’t like the way things are
either change them
or change your attitude
