One day
 Jun 2017 Christine

One day I won't get upset
I won't feel regret
I'll never remember
Anything that's been said
I'll be able to focus
Life will be endless
Possibilities without fear
Or needing forgiveness
Love will be overflowing
No guessing
No unknowing
I won't think about mistakes
I won't dwell on imperfection
I won't give in when temptation
Rears it's ugly head
Nothing will hurt me
I'll feel only love instead
Just feeling a bit sad after some news I heard.
Likened to the moon ...

beautiful lady ...
beautiful as the moon ...
and it's shinny stars ...
so faraway there ...
into the heart of sky ...
no one touch you ...
only eyes sees you ...

no dear sorry i am ...
the moon is beautiful like you ...
even it stole it's prettiness  ...
from you bright face ...
sweet lovely lady ...
beautiful you are ...
made the moon jealousy to you ...

all eyes watching you ...
follows and runs after you ...
as they watch every night the moon ...
that's why they likened you to the moon ...
but they still don't know ...
they still didn't see your heart ..
how pure and white ...
how your soul is ...
it's more beautiful ...
than all moons ...

yes you are sweetheart mine ...
you are more pretty beautiful ...
and the moon likened to you ...
because you are the queen ...
the queen to all moons ...
the queen to this world ...
as the moon with every night ...
my eyes watching you ...
only you sweetheart ...
the beautiful lady to my all nights ...
and the only one to my all life ...

hazem al ...
Season after season.
I've gazed upon you
through my window.

I've seen the snow hang low
upon your branches.
With white upon red berries.
I've watched the snow melt away
to reveal new buds,
opening,
ever so slowly,
to leaves so green.
In early Spring.

I've watched all the creatures
hop, climb, and fly among
your branches.
I've watched the birds taste
your blood-red berries.
I've seen songbirds...
Nuthatches,
finches, and chickadees.
Come to the feeders.
That hang from you.
I've seen the squirrels steal
seeds from the birds.
As their little paws unlatch
a little hook.
I've heard the birds sing among your
branches.
So sweetly.
I remember when the chickadees
built their nest in you,
and then watched their young fledge.
I remember the year the woodpecker
came knocking at your trunk's door.
As he drilled his beak into you.
And made a hole.
After that.
You were never the same anymore...

I watched your life slowly end.
Another year.
Another season.
More dead branches to be severed.
Fewer buds.
Fewer leaves.
As your story slowly drew to a close.

Yesterday,
they chopped down what was left of you.
But I will always remember you.
And I thank the Lord for the joy
of beholding your beauty.
Of watching your story.
You have blessed so many creatures.
Including me.
Farewell,
Beautiful Mountain Ash tree.

If you ever doubt yourself,
know that

despite what people do to you,
You are loved.

And it is true.
I love you
