Hello followers and likers
I feel like I owe you guys an apology for not putting any poems up
On Saturday and Sunday, possibly Friday
I will post more poems that I have been working on
I hope you will enjoy them
I am friends with the Midnight Man
Yes I am friends with he
He holds me tight
When the moon is lost in the dark of him
And soothe my pain with petty lies of death

I am friends with the Midnight Man
But I never asked for he
He chocks my throat
When I wish to the sandman of dreams
And punishes me with truth reaking of death

I am friends with the Midnight Man
Yes...
I'm compelled to be friends with he...
Golden flower in her hand
Like snow on a winters day
Her lips are pail
Her cheeks dim
But her hair the same
An oceans wave of god sculpted silk
Her dress is perfect
I wish she could see herself twirl in it
Her button nose still cuter then ever
And her nails just as they always are
Painted with a midnight blue
Matching her captivating eyes
Oh how I wish to see them sparkle once more
Under the light of the stars
I wish to just see her radiate with beauty one last time
Before I seal her casket
And say my very final goodbye...
A free bird leaps on the back
Of the wind and floats downstream
Till the current ends and dips his wing
In the orange suns rays
And dares to claim the sky.

But a BIRD that stalks down his narrow cage
Can seldom see through his bars of rage
His wings are clipped and his feet are tied
So he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill
Of things unknown but longed for still
And his tune is heard on the distant hill for
The caged bird sings of freedom.

The free bird thinks of another breeze
And the trade winds soft through
The sighing trees
And the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright
Lawn and he names the sky his own.

But a caged BIRD stands on the grave of dreams
His shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
His wings are clipped and his feet are tied
So he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings with
A fearful trill of things unknown
But longed for still and his
Tune is heard on the distant hill
For the caged bird sings of freedom.
I've got to make a decision, make some moves.
Live and learn.
Take it a day at a time.
No matter if you lose.
You were in the rain
With the drops gilded by the sun
Dripping on your smile with
Their moist wings.
The rain with its transparent
Eyes and crystalline forms
Reach out to me from memory,
Memory which is carried by every storm
Like tears on the window
Ringing you face to my mind.
They play my heart like liquid
Violins, an orchestrated thunder
In my pain.
I remember when you left,
It was raining
Pouring down like broken glass,
I feel your presence in every drop.
