Set fire to my skin
Let me feel something again
Watch me as I burn
And I breathe you in

In the dark of the night I can feel you
And I need this feeling to last
I repent for my ways
Relive those dark days
And I lose my mind over you

When the lights go off do you feel the same?

When the lights go on do we begin again?
Uncover me
put the light on and
discover me
before the night smothers me
make your move and uncover me.
If some day
I should pass you
clothed in shades
of pale pastel

all I ask
is turn your face
from my failing
sense of taste...
I have an age old dread
of an old age dress sense..
She smashes windows

and watches them fly

like tiny glass birds

and now and again

she likes to smash mirrors

that capture her eye

to see if she flies

the same...
He cast off his clothes
and his soul he laid bare
as he knelt with his nose
to the floor in prayer
then someone mistook
his crack for a rack
and parked the front wheel
of their bicycle there...
She smashes mirrors

and watches them spill

over their edges

and onto the floor

like tiny glass tears

not birds, but still

she smashes mirrors

she's looking for more ....
City of cake
built on tears
beyond the bridge
to my fears.
Deep.
She leaves me
with secret flowers

each has
a broken heart

and purple petals
for me to hide

and memories
I can't ....
if you wake every morning
and do nothing to make your life better
it will not get any better
if you wake every morning
and do something to make your life better
then surely no matter
how bad life might seem right now

it will get better
I miss the days when i got a comment that said that was awesome

the days when plagiarism didn't taint our papers

the days when berly dov,
the fictional real character of hello poetry
didn't dominate our thoughts
our discussions

the days when Joe challenged our might to toy with words

the days when no one was competing to hate the other

the days when "Deborah"
didn't have to write about the hate that we are so eager to embrace

the days when I didn't have to write that
Hello poetry
should rest in peace
