Dear Edgar,
We've never met,
But I know why you walked the streets
Of Baltimore at 4 am.
I too walk the streets of my own mind,
Hearing the raven's cries
And walking up at midnight to the sound of a tell-tale heart
Wondering if it is nothing more
Than the bells in my brain
Or the black cat running up the alleyway.
Dear Edgar,
We've never met,
But I know why you walked the streets
Of Baltimore at 4 am.
I took have whisked into the shadows
An inky cloak upon my back
Wondering whether my heart feels more like a pit or a pendulum
Or whether I will fall like the house of usher,
A gold bug
In the masque of red death.
Dear Edgar,
We've never met,
But I know why you walked the streets of Baltimore at 4 am.
Never more
William Wilson.
And silence- a fable,
Or is it?
I stand alone in a field of wheat.
With a camera,
Pretending I'm texting someone
Only so I don't have to admit I am alone

You are the literal universe
Not the center either
but the whole thing

Your blood is a galaxy
While your heart is a star
fuming with love and lust

But on your darkest days
Your eyes turn into black holes
Your soul turns into an empty void
destroying everything and anything you ever loved

Your bones that once structured your whole world
will crumble and turn into a dust of dullness

The scientist will diagnose you with a word
that will be meaningless to you but still makes your heart skip a beat

But know that you're not broken
Your body of the universe is just expanding and growing
in this rather cruel world where we all have to call home
Inspiration from a friend who told me this -
"You are not the center of the universe. You are the universe."

The shortest poem would have to be that so called relationship between you and I
The longest poem was that **** heartbreak afterwards
He played in her lushness all night long
She had a moist garden of much pleasure
Within it he could place his stem's treasure
Each stroke he offered twas truly strong
Her ******* were so delicious to taste
She became excited by his tongue's action
The feel of it made a great impaction
Their love transmitter twas like a hot baste
Her inner petals did hold his stem tight
Glistening sweat beads flowing on bed sheets
On the night's enthralling they did explore
A crescendo reached a sky of delight
Remarkable were their nocturnal feats
When dawn came they partook of an encore
with Soviet war ships
sitting off Australia's North Coast
the Russian President
is making no idle boast

shirt fronting is a phrase
he doesn't like to hear
that is why he's boated in
the heavy artillery gear

a more diplomatic approach
by Mr Abbott should've been employed
instead of using a lexicon
which so badly annoyed

in all matters relating
to foreign affairs
the participants must exercise
more stringent lingual care

for if a wrong word is uttered
woes can come to pass
which may ignite tensions
and cause an impasse
