Whatever you mean to me
is nestled deep inside my spirit
Lips sealed, I'll never speak of it
not to you, nor any other soul;
Heart pumping soul-searing love,
unrequited and strong.
Dare the day
to raise the light
To dedicate
itself to the Sun's respite

To crush
the shadows
kidnapped
by night

To free the wounds
of fright or plìght

The sunny ray's raucous
crackling whips
Soon the darkness
will be flipped

To hear
the moans of
grinding time
The wheels spin on
as the engines whine

So does the day
dare the night ?
Yes it does
to the Sun's delight

look into my eyes
and you'll see how silently
I'm screaming right now
Remember,
the best things in life are free

...plus tax
...license
...and recycling fee
I was loving some o' that heat when some cool cat turned the thermostat down.

Cold and grey suits batshit Britain today
I watch them through the leaded lights with leaden feet all kneeling to receive some blessing,
I never go, I leave them guessing as to what I'm doing and they come to a consensus that I'm stealing lead off the church roof,

I forgive them; they're old and no one ever told them that lead's no longer used on church roofs.

I'm off today
and some say
I've been off for years

can anyone explain to me
that when I'm off
it always seems to rain on me
and not pennies from Heaven either

when the roof caves in
and only the faithful
are saved by him

I'll be with her.

Liar, liar,
Pants on fire—
When will you tire?

What happens when the truth is chased away?
Left alone, day by day,
Slicing through the ache,
Of every mistake
Blood trails like tears from their eyes,
Can’t disguise
The weight of these lies.

Behind closed doors,
Where secrets are stored,
The pain runs deeper,
Cutting through more than skin.
Every lie a scar,
Every denial a wound,
Until the truth is lost,
In the silence of the room.
The real you put into a tomb

Liar, liar,
The fire burns on,
Leaving only echoes of the truth,
In a heart that’s gone cold,
A story untold,
Of lies and the scars you leave behind.
