I am always leaving now
skittering in place
I am convinced
by my effort

that I am not
now anymore

a kid
closing his eyes
to not be seen

peeking out
**** now

skittering bolstered chemically
closed eyes
opened unseeing

now without me
unfound

i am only lessened
cursed now
remains unleft

I loved to watch you as you sleep;
your breathing even deep and slow.
I loved to watch you as you dreamt
of places I can never go.
We read your stories, I heard your prayers
Then, touching the pillow, you drifted off
It seems like only yesterday,
but really it was long ago.

trust me when i say that i love being alone.
i love the moments of solitude when
i can just be with myself doing nothing.
i love not having to explain myself for
why i'm feeling what i'm feeling.
i know being alone is not worth it if it's
not with the right person. being with someone
just for the sake of being with someone is
just the worst way to hurt yourself. trust me, i know.

I am the dandelion.
Transformed.

I was a useless ****.
Unwanted.

Now I am a fluffy force.
Reformed.

I sail on the wind.

I begin again.

***** words aren’t always hidden
in symbols, are they?

Some poets use words to wound,
and they know my weakness.

The subtle weapon of language.
The tool of a master.

Artfully chosen,
then Drawn like a dagger.

Slaying my attempts
at peace of mind.

Because they know I always
read between the lines.

I watered a flower
it was like find a response
then I saw everything
it is like need

experience is wrong,they said
like they were wrong

I loved to a color
like it is never  gonna don't fading of color
I called the truth in my dream
it is like it is time

search for reason,they said
it is like they are looking

I got caught in a rain
it is like it is got to get wet
I have not set it up for a long time
like it'll notice

wet is cold,they said
like it was in the rain
