I am the voice in your head
I can tell you how to do things
Right or wrong
All according to whim.

Sometimes righteous
Occasionally evil
My voice lends to the aural
What your soul intends to do.

You intone with me
As I speak
In the same way
Your consciousness never sleeps.

So what's the question
Or what's the game
As you know full well
I am ready to play.

You don't think like me
And I don't think like you
But it seems to me
We're both *******.

We can do the math
In our various ways
And we sum the total
To the end of days.

I am right
And you are wrong
But you'll play the numbers
Like it's all your song.

I don't care
So long as they hear
The same sad song
Of everything going wrong.

But you spin out the bliss
Like a drunken fairy wish
Disregarding all the facts
And sending us all back.

It's a redo, people
**** the ice age
Get reacquainted with your dogs
And repaint the steeples.

If I told you to go ****
You'd just snort
And take my last beer.

You're a best friend and quite cavalier
You know me like nobody
But you're still a queer.

I just want the best for you
And I know you reverse the same
But if we ever get outta this mess
I probably shouldn't know your name.

You're used to it
But I ain't gonna do it
I know you now
You're my best friend anyhow.

So tuck and ****
Fists all battering
Smash 'em good
I wanna see blood splattering.

rained-on parade
It's hard to explain
how this heart feels.
Like laughter lost in echo
and your warm touch
now long gone cold.

Anxious, breathless;
something lost I need
so desperately found.

Empty perhaps.
Abandoned like houses,
broken like silence.

These hands can't reach as far
as where you lay.
Somehow I feel like I burn at both ends;
the flames now reaching their meeting place.

But it's always better to burn out
than to fade away.
Conversations.

"You can't hold the torrent,
Of salty water,
Captive.

You can't keep it all,
Locked up,
Inside.

You can't stop the hidden,
Tides from,
Rising.

So let go,
Just cry."

)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

You are weak and snivelling
A child just past its cradling
Cry all you wish
And I bet it won't change ****.

But I hear that voice
Never before disturbed
Asking for consideration
From gods never heard.

If I were a god
I'd be embarrassed
To have neglected such sweetness
If I were a god
I'd lie with the mud-crushed cretins.

But I am no god
And I cry
At all the lost chances
At all the children's lies.
Kids carry the brunt of the forebear's remorse.

Some and not others whipsaw crazy headlights gleaming not in the right but swerves heavy to the left and cackles it's ok, it's alright. Grackly hands descend from ahigh to grasp a young cheek and laugh why. Too-bright lights and too-harsh smiles carry us into the future for days and miles. Brought up on too much salt and too much sugar they burn like moth gods and they die in droves. Speciel endization is all in the lighting, the moisture content and land levels. Look at the moon and say it isn't true; it's mocking us yet awaiting you.

She was born at zero and waited seven years to be a hero and the story is that instead of dying she pushed all the red buttons and got to flying. Mars was on the loom so she needed extra room for all the food and water. She arrived at age eight and a galactic hero, to be everyone's daughter but eventually just a genetic *** barrel.

Because the farther we go
The farther we are.
But the further we go
The further we are.

Her tiny fingers
Commanded I live
And subsequent requests
Engendered her worldwide knowledge.

I am something
Times many somethings
And she is me
Cubed to the power of three.

My wayward wants and casual lusts
Taught her young of all the usual haunts
She would keep me in line
For a goodly time
But soon liquor and women would e'er undo me.

In deepest woe I'd approach
My young charge at her worst
Consume all throwables
Yet hug her tightly to my chest.

And toward my Mom I'd quake
Without even a choice to make
I'd offer some symptom of obeisance
Even as she waved off the cretinous.

My young love would
Magically invoke the same
And before I knew it
I was grovelling at my mother's grave.
