Creep
He came into my bedroom last night,
As I curled up,
Burrowed deep into the covers
Searching for his arms.
In my head were demons
Chasing little me around.
He came in.
He banished them away,
Tall, beautiful.
Mine.
Above me, he stared at me as I dreamt
Of his eyes,
That mesmerizing voice
Soothing my fear...
He stared one last time.
He leaned down,
And kissed me.
Supple, soft.
Endearingly, as if I was as fragile as I looked,
As if I would break.
He forgot everything I've been through
While I lay, vulnerable.
He kissed me anyways,
Those tender lips...
He took away all the shivers
And took me away to a land far away,
A safer place.

But he stood up, and walked out the door afterwards.
To go to his own safe place.
Somewhere no one could hurt him,
Somewhere no one would come for him.

He just forgot to take me with him.

By death cab for cutie
Tired of starting on the bottom
Knocked from the top
Work hard not given what's mine
Everyone pampered and handed theirs
You may not like me but I'm best for the job
You won't have me motivated by the rest of the insecure opposed
You say jealous but tired of being ******* over
You talk big but when I confront you
Your very small you over look me because I'm not tall
You hate me but I don't need you at all
Wasted day wasted night everydays a fight
Give me what I've earned stop taking what's mine
Take my chance but I'm not done

But, Darling,
it did.

You did not see.

I have read too many poems
From those of you who want to die.

I read the words, I hear your voice,
Yes, I hear your desperate cry,
I am torn and heart-sick at your plight;
Yet, I have to ask you why?
For when you close your eyes forever,
The hurt and pain won’t go away,
It crawls inside all those you love,
Where it kills them every day.

Were you jilted by a lover?
Are you an addict, beaten down?
Or is it that you don’t fit in
On the ‘right’ side of the town?
Does no one understand you?
Or “It doesn’t matter anyway”,
Because when you try to tell us,
We listen not to what you say?

No, I cannot feel the pain you bear
But I understand it’s real
Is there anything that I can do,
To try and help you heal?
Do you want someone to hold your hand?
Do you want a shoulder for your tears?
Do you want someone to scream at you?
Or hold you tight and calm your fears?

Do you need a teacher?  Or a coach?
Or a banker for your debt?
Do you want a job that’s interesting,
Or any job that you can get?
Do you want to make somebody proud?
Or find someone to share your life?
Or do you only want a yes-man
To hand you the pills, give you the knife?

You may say, “Shut up old man! –
Don’t want to listen to your ****.
You’ve always had it easy,
You always won, you never had to quit.
You don’t have a ******* clue.”
And you’re right I probably don’t
But if you keep it all inside,
No one will, and I sure won’t.

Please seek some help, I beg of you
You each have talents, and a heart
There’s a remedy or cure somewhere
For the pain that’s tearing you apart
I’m not a doctor, or a shrink
But I’ve seen suicide up close,
It hurts and devastates the ones
Who loved the victim most.

As I go through life I have met many people who say they are my friend....
What is a real friend, how does one describe themselves as a friend....

The proof is in one's actions,
what they say,
what they do
and what they feel...

Anyone can say that they are your friend,
But the proof is in the pudding as we say......

Me, I will do anything for a real friend, anything in my control......

If they are excited about something I am there...
If they have bad news I am there....
If they need something I am there...
If they are hurting I am there....

Friends do what they say....
Friends call you just to say hello...
Friends check on you.....
Friends party with you.....
Friends have nothing but love for each other....

Anything else is only a acquaintance.....
