A WOMAN'S 'S REVOLT I By; Esther Esuga
I am the voiceless rendition
With no choice of mine
I am the inaudible presentation
With no initiative
Like an eraser, such, is blotted from the drawing
I am the beast of burden
carrying the ugly faced weight through the Sahara
I can not rebel
I belong to the dreg in the society
Not having an opinion over a thing
For I do not count in affairs
I am the back bench-er
For we are told
A Woman'S PLACE is in the kitchen .
I am Lord
My emotions are numb
As my breast milk become sour
Leaving the innocent infants with no food
I am swamped in the ***** of my own hurt
And no one can notice for a split second
In my mind's eye i shout and scream
But I am the voiceless rendition
With no choice of mine

The Angels shall fall
When the sun disappears
The Devil will appear
Holding out a guiding hand
Those you least trust shall
Become the trusted
As the trusted will
Desert you in your time
Of need.
The Devil may appear evil
But remember he once was Gods
Favourite until he fell...

Awake
as a flame
hoping
to burn out.

Sleet and cold.

The cat wonders
what the ****
is up.

The BBC
reports  that
the world
remains
a mess.

What is
worth knowing
at 4 AM?

You are lonely
in darkness.

It will be
a long, long day.

You are caught
in that time,
that is not time.

On a pyre
between worlds,

you burn
and burn,
but are not
consumed.

That dreaded 4 AM

You start the day waking up in blight

Staring at the ceiling, neither nor bright

struggling yourself left and right

feeling down and never delight

You gaze at your left to a wonderful sight

A hand has reached out

Grabbing it without doubt

You’ve sat down with a straight spine

Everything seemed all fine

Pulling you to a bright light

A dazzle you’ve been waiting for a long time

A pious voice whispers “You are safe”

But many screams “Farewell”

A great epiphany hits

You’ve lost your tomorrow.

When your best friend tells you that she hasn’t eaten anything today, don’t laugh along with her like it's some kind of contest, hold her hand and tell her you love her and she's beautiful

When your sister says that the neighbours cat got a little nasty, don’t roll your eyes and shrug along with her, pull her close and tell her about the time she taught you how to ride your bike and remind her that you never want to be an only child

When the boy next door tells you that he fell during gym for the twelfth time this month, don’t giggle and tell him to stop being so clumsy, give him an ice pack and let him tell you about all the doors and stairs that hit back until his throat is raw and he feels a little less alone

No More
so many have died
as you sit in your comfy chairs
children are dieing
families are seperating
no good ever comes from it
No More Wars

Food becomes limited
costs go up
money disappears
luxury no longer exists

Hospitals become full
children become orphans
women become widows
men lose their wives

No body ever wins
we all lose
so please
from the bottom of my heart
as a member of the human race
and on behalf of all life without a voice
please NO MORE WARS
