The burn upon your back
Oh, I remember it well
The shriek passed through your lips
The awful, gastly smell

Why I ever put it there
That I do not know
Far too gone my mind was
I should not have let go

His words were dipped in honey
His smile captivatingly sharp
He kept the knowledge which I craved
He snuck into my heart

He drove my thoughts of you away
Seduced me with his charm
I danced his tune
Performed his art
Made his puppet
Played the part

How I wish for nights turned back
How I want for only their change
For if dreams could turn reality
This path would not lead to shame

Alas, the Guilty cannot rise to fame
The Bitter cannot hide from pain
We all work to beat this game
None are blameless in this quest for change

Yet minds still sharp and full of wit
Will rise against the hellish pit
Can bring an end to it all
Stop gods and masters standing tall
Fight against the rising tide
Prove that we are still alive

Have His plans brought to the grave
Take home back and save the day
For whether you're safe or whether your not
You won't allow our friends to rot

Don't show me why I love you still
Don't make this burning pain too real

Never to think of what you lost
While we weep for what it cost
Should have been me to take the blame
But then, you and I are just the same
Ah yes, I still write poetry. I almost forgot, haha. I was blindsided by Ford (Gravity Falls) feels while in the middle of watching Dead Poets Society, so yeah.

Run little fools,
It's only just begun,
How many more must be lost
Before the battle is won?

Quaking their armor,
Shaking in their boots,
Trembling like daisies
just hanging by the root

Swords at hand,
Rage all-consuming,
Hold friends close,
When the enemy is coming

Danger great and chances slim,
"You have to fight if you want to win"

Giants roam far and wide
Crushing our spirits and stealing our lives

With linked hearts,
Our courage sparked,
Orders now at hand,
Mustn't fear,
All's not lost here,
Battle to the last man

Retrieve your pride,
Search low and high,
Take back our land
Before we die
So I've been doing some deep thinking for SNK... Hehe
Don't fall for me.
I won't even see you when you stare,
Never mind catch you when you fall.

Don't fall for me.
Because I'm not the air rushing past your face,
I'm the cold, hard slap when you hit the dirt.

Don't fall for me.
Love songs and serenades only meet my deaf ears,
Mountain top shouts, the result'd bring you to tears.

Don't fall for me.
I'm not the type to notice,
I'm not the type to feel the same.
If you love me, Cupid ******* hates you.

Pooling emotion on our face
Told by most it's a disgrace
Hot and wet and full of pain
Never should be known again

Invisible paths cut across dry cheeks
Cannot let them think us weak

Let dark clouds loom overhead-
Let them cry the tears we refuse to shed
It has been raining a lot lately, and I've been thinking about angsty character stuff. I guess it also has to do with the fact that so many people refuse to cry because society has made it out to be a sign of weakness and... yeah...
I became the crutch you leaned on
Supporting the weight of your pain
I put a cast on your heart
When it became too battered
I became your most sturdy stilt
To help you move on
Until you felt better
That's when you left me
Never did you ask if I sustained injuries
While I was nursing you back to health
You smile
as you mentally
slip on your disguise.

You smile
as you look deeply
into their trusting eyes.

You smile
as you put into words
all the things they want to hear.

You smile
with a voice
that sounds so incredibly sincere.

You smile
while reveling in the fact
that they do not have a clue.

You smile
because you know
that they do not see the malevolent you.

You smile
so clever, so witty
in addition, you pour on the charm.

You smile
since you have them convinced
that you mean them no harm.

You smile
and begin to lose sight
of what is reality and what is a lie.

You smile
at your power
to always make them cry.

You smile
as you continue to play
not caring that it is a sick, twisted little game.

You smile
knowing that when you are through
you will not even remember their name.

You smile
as you realize
that you own them body and soul.

You smile
at their ignorance thinking to yourself
“You fool, how could you not know?”

You smile
as you continue *******
every bit of life out of them.

You smile
as you zoom in on and start stalking
your next impending victim.

You smile
as you move on
feeling no guilt or remorse and certainly without a care.

You smile
as you take all your ill-gotten gains
with you back to your lair.

You smile
with conceit and arrogance,
“This is a game I always win.”

You smile
and laugh aloud assured,
that you will get away with it again.

You smile ……….

Continents and countries
Miles between
Somehow we always meet here on this street
Cosmic
Eternal
Or perhaps just...
Small

The foot of the mountain or the very peak
Miles, count the distance you will see
Yet here we are, you and I, at the corner of Myrtle and Fir
Astounding
Ethereal
Or maybe…
Small

Perhaps fate is on our side
Perhaps the stars are perfectly aligned
Perhaps it was always meant to be
Perhaps it’s a small world for you and me
Perhaps a bit disjointed? I don't know and I think I like it. It is rather interesting, how conversations, no matter how odd or unpleasant, can give you inspiration for poetry.
Oh, and the reason I chose Myrtle and Fir is because myrtle stands for "Love"  and fir for "Time" which I liked very much.

A swift blade descending
An onyx pit of despair
The strong hold on your heart
A stark contrast to living
Funny, what I think of when I'm at the orthodontist. I get so anxious during those and dentist visits... even when they're not for me. Heh...

We tell people to be themselves
Yet we judge them when they're being themselves
