"I"
You may not like my writing
well I don't give a ****
"Subpar" Oh Well!
That's just who I am

I must have scared you bad "I"
you blocked I real quick
I had "I" turning tail
"I" couldn't match my wit

Poor poor "I" run and hide
Be lonely with all your 0's
"I" couldn't quite make the cut
"I"s lost among the heroes

"I" couldn't take the fire
Did the kitchen get too hot?
Go cry over "I"s masterpieces
Sob for all "I's" NOT!!!
Just a thought running through my head
The Chicken blocked me!
ooh I must be scary!

I am the her that is his muse
I am the her that makes him shine
I am the her that called to him
And caused the stars to realign

I am the her that is his breath
I am the her that is his smile
I am the her that made him see
Joy is not synonymous with guile

I am the her that fills his heart
I am the her that gives him life
I am the her that takes away
His suffering and strife

I am the her behind his words
I am the her that sees the man
I am the her that shows him how
The power of love is in our hands

The wind was howling and the trees were bare
I called your name, there was no one there
The darkness gathered all around
And stillness – there was not a sound.

It was then I saw Him watching me
With eyes so sad that I could see
He felt the sorrow and sensed my pain
He knew I’d not see you again.

He surrounded me with a kindly peace
As if He knew there was no release
And all my tears welled up inside
Emotions that I’d tried to hide
All came tumbling, tumbling down
And fell like raindrops to the ground
And in that moment I think I knew
What He, Himself, had once been through.

I stood and looked into the night
Of Him there was no longer sight
And thus I left that Holy place
Myself at peace, and you in grace
And though my life will just go on
Forever now we’ll be as one
But when I go back to that place
I’ll hope to see His peaceful face.

Glide upon the whooshing air
in suit of polyester wear
Ride upon the tourquise skies
those fancy goggles on your eyes
Free fall forward gliding fast
wings are tight
as air screams past
glancing downward now you see
the road is winding out to the sea!

trusting that your landing will be soft

I wander through the mist,
the heavy air by sunlight kissed,
yet now too late to dissipate,
crushing, unrelenting weight,
maybe we can coexist.
The sodden earth beneath me lay
trodden normally on by day,
though now was overcast by gray,
the fog that did persist,
the bog would not decay,
I wished that I could stay.
But then ahead appeared a light,
to my dismay, far out of sight,
how could it be, as dark as night
I thought it was today.
A slimy serpent crossed my path,
and with a smile, hissed,
humbled by its vile wrath,
I wander through the mist.

Love like the sun
Loves the earth
Ever since they met
They dance every day

The sun makes the earth
Look on the brighter side
The earth gives the sun
A reason to wake up

Love like the earth
Loves the sun
Because the earth isn’t distracted
By the stars and the moon
