betterdays
.
                                    how is it?
you only live once.
but you can die,
a thousand deaths.

                                    how is it?
i can be blinded,
by your beauty.
but beauty is
in the eye,
of the beholder.

                                    how is it?
that i live,
only for you.
but i live,
to change the world.

                                    how is it?
love is a,
battlefield.
but love is,
life's refuge.

                                    how is it?
you loom large,
in my eyes.
but you make,
the big things,
seem small.

                                    how is it?
that to you,
i am a queen.
but to me,
i am love's
fool... lost.

                                    how is it?
history repeats,
itself.
but you are,
my first truelove.

                                         how....
*how...
spring has most definitely sprung
this morning a pair of pigeons
were imbibing in some birdie ***
the **** mounted the hen
on the neighbor's verandah
they gave not a thought
to those who may have been prudish
they were in the mood
to be openly lewd

Something ain't right
When it comes down to this
Something ain't right
Like nobody's biz
With all of the what's
And all the what if's
Something here just ain't right

Something ain't right
Feels like make believe
Shows itself clear
Then suddenly takes a leave
With the dot of the "I's"
And the cross of the "T's"
Something here just ain't right

Something ain't right
With the do's and the dont's
Something ain't right
With the will's and the wont's
With the lifting of up
And the letting of down
Something here just ain't right

Something ain't right
With the planning of this
Something ain't right
Like a sloppy kiss
If we line up our sights
Perhaps next time we won't miss
Something here just ain't right
back from work when he rings the bell
his face tells me not all is well.

there's a dog out there,
seriously wounded, can't even get up

saying this he picks up a plastic bowl
pours some water in it
and to show him he isn't alone
I follow him with a bowl of milk
with breads soaked in it,

must be some insolent car tyre
crushed his hind legs
a black emaciated one
with a patch of white

and upon that grass
beneath the sinking night
we two mourn.

As I look around today
It truly saddens me
When I see my brothers and sisters
Bound in modern day slavery

We now rely on the government
To supply our every need
Where'd you go home of the brave
Land of the free

What happened to the days
We did for ourselves
Where there was a will there was a way
Where a way there was a will

When we wanted something
We didn't have empty hands out
We grabbed ahold the grinding stone
Placed hands on the plow

All we seem to do now a day's
Is collect a check in our woe is me
In the home of the not so brave
Land of the not so free

Like I said when I look around today
It truly saddens me
When I see my brothers and sisters
Bound in modern day slavery
I do understand there are times when people do need assistance from the government but there are far too many taking advantage of the system.

When you get close to me...
I feel you
physically.
long before we touch.

There are times when...
our rhythms sync
and throb
unintentionally.

Your intense closeness...
staggers me
draws me
entrances me
"with your eyes"

We just...
fit together.
Very Nicely...
you feel like home.
A kiss of pure intention
is one not frequently found
For the lips that meet yours
often bring your knees to the ground

I can't wait until the day when my doubts will float away
and I will be kissed by the most genuine of lips
Ugly, horrid souls use romantic moonlit strolls
as a gateway, leading to her willing hips

A kiss of pure intention
leaves me feeling breathless

A kiss of pure intention
has no need to mention
future possibility
for an equal probability
of walking you home in the moonlight
or staying until the covers are wrinkled just right
for you read the same book, are on the same page
Emotions run parallel, obviously engaged
We learn to read one another, to see what we'll find

*A kiss of pure intention leaves more than lust behind.
Inspired by a Freaks and Geeks romance & personal experiences.
Lonely nights, she waited but made sure she looked good
In case his plans could include a quick hello, or a nice drive
She sat in her doubt, slept with her loneliness, got drunk
on the idea of his presence and just how wonderful his eyes sparkled
when he swore he would rather lay with her confusion
than step foot in that life one more time, but he has to
Just once more. Just once. He has potential for permanence which he is blind to. Everything is a drug. Or at least has the opportunity
to get you high with the thought of exclusion, you and him. Him and I.
Inspired by a toxic relationship with a drug dealer who had quite a way with words.

I wonder every now and then
If you ever think of me
In the circle it is that you now run
Do I cross your memory

When you stand at night and look up
Do you see the same stars in the sky
And when you wish upon a falling one
Is your wish the same as mine

That life for us would have worked out
And we'd still be together today
Instead of all that's left of the wish
Is the memory as it fades away
