That long
Faded dreams

Will not come again

The day I went to
School

The day I met my
Friends

The day I left
them

Many say distance
is small

If you can feel your
family and friends
in your heart

May be right..

Days passed I couldn't
even talk to someone

What may be the reason
it's my fault

I am the culprit

Missing such wonderful
Gems

Selfless love

Care in heart

is what I am missing
Yes, it directly came
from my heart

I am that culprit
who left them

Nothing can pacify
me
The bath water
is the colour of my eyes;
yet, I don't know
which is wetter.
Life becomes more enduring when simple.

Simple needs
Simple wants
Simple ways
Simple pleasures
Simple measures…

Attaining this though not simple

Is worth trying

Amid the challenging realization

It’s simply impossible!
I'm sorry...

That you think I am weak
That I don't measure up to your expectations
That you felt the need to berate me

I'm also sorry...

That you feel I was not worthy
That I was where you took out your frustrations
That you no longer tolerate me

I'm not sorry

That you cut me out of your life
Your circle
Your childishness

thank you!
You made my life EASIER
More PLEASANT
More POSITVE

thank you with all my heart for going away
Not all breakups are heart tearing, some are uplifting.

Yesterday saw us through in a stroll
Unaware of the marathon we've begun.
By day's end we found ourselves bearing future's toll
Realised we were in it to secure today's sun.

Today saw us slightly worn thin
Indulgent naïveté in this marathon we've begun.
Into each other's strengths we lean
Hoping to see the end in tomorrow's sun.

Tomorrow may see us out in the cold
We may not be done with this marathon we've begun.
At opposite poles save for the binds that hold
But still planting hope in future's sun.

The future might see each breath to be drawn
In this marathon we've begun.
Only to be swallowed by each new dawn
Inadvertently still chasing the sun.
Inspired by Sara Bareilles' "Chasing the Sun".
One can only hope for a brighter tomorrow.
You & I,
are a lullaby

We're the deafening *silence

just after the crash
we are moments of happiness
that never last

We're a riddle
that has no answer
we are both the cure
and the cancer

We've read this book
a thousand times, and in our hearts
we both know this fairytale
can never have a happy ending
I wish it did.....
the word pursue
is such a peculiar word
to use to describe the role of
a male in a relationship

It suggests the woman
is running away
and doesn't wish
to be caught

I understand the concept of
playing hard to get
but at some point the chase usually ends
and both people surrender

*but you've never stopped running
