If it’s true that home is where the heart is,
then you can share your heart with me.
I’ll hold it close
and keep it warm
I’ll unlock it with a key.
If you tell me home is what you need,
then home is what I’ll be.
I met a girl in a restaurant
Working in drive-through
She took my order
And She took my heart
I don't know what to do

With golden hair
And Emerald eyes
A smile like the rising sun
she filled up my life with the light of love
And I want to be the one
She loves back

At first she was a damsel in distress
I protected her as best as I knew how
Then I found that She was a true princess
And I couldn't find the ground

The sight of Her sets my heart on fire
And takes my breath clean away
I never thought that I could feel so strong
And so helpless in this way

I met a girl in a restaurant
And I'll never be the same
She took my heart and I'll love Her forever
And I hope She feels the same

I love you Tricia
I still love everyone I have ever loved, even if I never see them again

There will come a day
When we would no longer be the same
> when wrinkles and creases
like ivies caress your forehead
> when the bitterness of this world
eats you away like leprosy
> when pain and darkness
swill out your features
like this everlasting wave of time

< I would still know this smile, this wink,
this laugh out loud

< I'd know you by your love of little things
< the eyes that are turned toward the sunshine
< the ears tuned toward the fireworks
< the shallow voice and deep words

< Then I'd know it'd be you
< I'd search you amid the crowds
< Then I'd turn my head in shame and joy
< Finding someone like you

<For this is far greater,
> than the distance, the chasm of hearts, aged times,
> and your hatred
> that separates us
have you ever liked an author so much that you wished he/she could be here with you?
That night he called it quit
She cried on her pillow
Curled up like a ball on
a freshman bunk bed.
The moon, its light her only pity party

One night he called to ask
If there was ever a chance
Yes or No? He asked
Just like that.  She replied
Flat out. No!!

Other days he called
Just to say hi! She went
From bad mood to feeling good
Laughing and  smiling but he
had made her cry that night,
years ago.

Today, here he is,
Looking into those eyes,
Hers,  searching.....
But he found her,  the same girl
She had waited! For him
all along.

In between, got her heart
Broken into a million pieces.
Broke her fair share too. Still
somewhere deep down she waited
to hold his.

It will be simpler, if
She was different,
For he is a different guy
now. Not the kind of guy for
her girl.

If you’re leaving me
Help me close the doors
There’s no heart to steal anymore

Don’t make me wonder why
When I’m too tired to start over
And
Too tired to let it go

Maybe in a long silence
I’ll get my closure since
I know what we are
And
What we’re not
Like a breezy...
Lights out
Your love
Light's in
Come on
Let's whistle
New lane...
Covering past n future...
If you wish
Let's cheers!
Once again...
As always..
We do....
..
Icy
Silent wine...
Beautiful daffodils
Merged with calmness
Another story begins within
Deck of dream unfurled speechless
....
Rewind,
Flashback phobias...
Encountering
Blueberries smiling
Cactusy sweetness
Dark hallucinations
Dawn provoked

The uniVerse
It ended before the start
what was the final tour
all it took was a spark
of another man's war
let's begin the futility
it will all be over soon
or just an opportunity
a soldier of fortune
when you can attack
there's no need to defend
it's not as easy as that
When you start at the end
I wrote this poem backward and then edited so it reads both ways.

Words are dead!
there I said it
words are dead
the words in your head
are in the past
the words that you said
will not last
fireworks that attract the eye
liar's words in the mind
an explosion of language
and then silence
they do so much damage
and cause violence
chasing words
feeling tiredness
healing words
are band-aids on the soul
a soothing to the ears
they're dropped in empty holes
for who hears?
who really listens?
words are dead
we have visions
images of creation
words are no salvation
just pointers
pointing to the infinite
still they loiter
words we can't forget
we hold them to our chest
like lifeless children
we always do our best
but the words **** them
and now all that's left
is dead...
dead words.
