I lay
staring
at the sky
having
old memories
drifting by
feeling your fingers
through my fingers
melting
snowflakes
as I cry

Deep
Two flowers in a vase
leading a third scent,
Aware of dryness, like
fatalists, they move headlong!
Writing this poem when both are together for five days
I dreamt of you
Not because I didn't think of you
But because I wanted to see you again

I dreamt of you
Not because I was told to
But because of this lonely feeling
That held me captive without you

I dreamt of you
Not because of your beauty
But because of your gentle touch

I dreamt of you
Not because I was told so
But because I wanted to see you stand next to me

Lo
Enough
 Jan 2023 SUDHANSHU KUMAR
Lo
The reason you say
you've had enough is because
you don't feel you are.
I’m sorry if this hurts you
I don’t want that
I haven’t told you this before
Not sure if you’ve noticed or not
But the scars aren’t by normal means
Don’t worry they’re not there to end
Just like the semi colon
They’re here because of not ending the sentence
I’m not sure how much you’ve dealt with
I was scared to tell you this
Most people can’t handle it
And I can’t stand to be the burden
I had to get rid of the voices
The lies they keep telling me
The ones I know are false
But the more you hear them
The more you want to trust
Even when they go against all logic
All the memories
Maybe today was just a hard day
Maybe it wasn’t because of the day at all
I’ll probably never find out
I just want you to know that
Adding more art to this ****** up gallery
Has never been your fault
This is a side effect of not ending the sentence
The art may stay for a bit
But I hope you will stay longer
Until the art can stop

The styles ferocious,
Infamous, plus the lyrics is stainless,
Take shots at me,
But ya aimless,
As I caress earlobes, explore the globes,
Got my raps heard in ya abode,
See me explode,
On contact the rap habitat,
Trained for combat,
Ninja suits stacked, with thirty million killers
In the back,
Imagine that,
All races united with the black,
Iron fist got y'all bumpin' this,
Cruising to this,
Number one spot ludicrous,
Plus the conflict, is crucial,
Chemical gems to boost you,
Induce you,
To the flava of the century, mix master  brewery,
Shine like jewelry reflecting of the sun B,
Come take a ride with me,
Glance the imagery of the city,
Night life thrills,
Keep at least three stacks on the bill, for real,
Haters chill,
We got no time to break ill,

everyday I’m stared into
cried to, confessed to
when the face appears in my vision,
she usually stays a while,
never looking the same from the time she arrives
to the moment she leaves,
face outline and colorful one moment
smudged and plain the next

on occasion she has a lover to show me
taking up a space I could never fill,
telling her sweet little words that ring in her ears
but they come and they go,
never long to stay,
no one like me.
they don’t see it all
the highs, the lows
her smiles and bright eyes
as they dim at night

when her hope seems lost
i wish to cradle her
wrap her in arms that i cannot afford
i wish she saw herself the way i see her
i wish those she brought around gave her more
but she always returns to me, day after day
staring into my eyes and speaking to me
she knows i am voiceless yet she feels me listening
unless

unless she speaks only to herself
the reflection she stares at
she doesn’t see me,
just her eyes in my sight
that’s the thing about mirrors
we’re all an illusion

Rhyme in mind;
Seen a time gone by;
***** ole line spins by;
Not cruel, just rumpled.
Not spicy, just worn.
Once bounced with new,
now falls with truth.
Lost about the edges.
It's fun
As I sit here sipping a coke
On a road middle of nowhere
Just alone on my truck
And I see the planes fly

And as they pass by
I imagine my heart
Is on one of them

For I watched it get one, once
Maybe one day I could see him again
And not have to say goodbye
From a lovely voice
To nothing spoken
How one's own mind changes
When they are changed
From empty promises
