Broken winged, broken hearted, broken life.
Heart broken, life full of pain and anger.
But your still standing for you were broken but have healed and mended.
Now you fly alongside your friends and family, free to be yourself.
Can't change the past, only going ever further into the future.
Some may call you a pest, a vermin, but I say you're smart and awesome.
Through thick and thin, facing anything that comes at us.
Soaring high above the wind into the heavens.
Knowing that your never alone for you have really good friends.
Friends that will always be at your side, till the end.
~~
*When I saw grandma was spinning yarn at moon
Mother's lullaby was just a fairytale
The measure would not have to weigh the legs
Flew colorful kites in the sky
Had a chat with friends at idle hours
The dreams came but never went with wind
We, all friends were wandering in a fairyland
The words of the poem as the rain came
She loved to hear the poems
When romance flowed with blood
Air, flowers said Spring
When in a lazy Summer afternoon
She stood at my door
Sitting beside me
Sang a song of future
Lost ourselves
When time moved in the forth dimension
You and me
Sometimes Sunshine,
Sometimes Rain
Horizon spoke with Rainbows
Then dreams played with my blue Sky
And I was bright as the Evening Star

I married the
cold night
with a cities worth
of lights as my
witness.

Like those of
Babylon we wished
to be closest to the
Gods on our night
of promise.

Her natural brown
hair fell across
her flawless face
in thin lonely wisps.

The tip of
her nose turned
an unhealthy red
as the hill top winds
made their
way past.

We both
produced chilling
diamond cut
wedding bands
made from the ice of
our hearts.

Slipped upon
my finger she did
with the coldness
and a whispered
promise.

And I upon hers
with the words
we had
agreed upon.
"May My coldness
hurt no other but
you".
Originaly " No Other"

To think
I wanted only
you to read
my work.

Can you Imagine
I wanted only
you to take
in all
that I
presented.

Like blood
offerings
atop a
ancient
pyramid,
I sacrificed
great chunks
of me on
paper.

All  in
hopes of
reaching
beyond that
frown you wore
in those
final soul
******* days.

I thought
I knew you.
The way I knew
you were smiling
in the dark

The way I
knew the
answers to
those questions
only your
eyes knew how
to ask.

I hoped you
of all people
would
get something
out of
all of this

Understand
how much
of me
these words
take to be.

To think I
didn't share
any of this
with anyone
for years.

Foolish
is the only
word I hear.

When I said I forgive you
I did not expect you
To walk right back
Into my life
Like nothing never happened.

We can not be the same
I saw you with my
blood shot and teary eyes.
You betrayed me
I am unable to give you such
Love
Such Affection,
All over again
Because you disgraced not only me
But my pride as well.

One life and beating heart.
sun on my scalp
concrete beneath my feet
the faint scent of diesel smoke
clings to my shirt
my shirt clings to me in the scorching heat

Fresh off a southbound train i walk towards the sounds
of a nearby town
i near a road with traffic zipping by
and step over the guardrail.

i let out a relieving sigh
its so good to see cars and other people

when a few hours prior i called a boxcar,home
23 hrs crawling thru the desert heat

i now unloaded my pack
knelt down
and kissed the street

You always drank Jack
to hide the nasty flavor
of my wanton-mouth.
And you loved the nipping
and twisting of your
heaving puffed-tops.
And when you opened up,
when you finally let me in,
you cut my back crisscross
with your razor-fingertips.
You moved the Earth
under our trembling bodies,
I quaked, you rumbled
like thunder.
