The Luminous Night
Luminous Night Jan 2016
Once was loved,
but was suddenly stopped.

Loyal but betrayed,
Until led to astray.

In the dark it took flight.
Then he was born, the luminous night.

Wanted
Luminous Night Feb 2016
To be sought,
To be the only one in your thoughts,

To be held like there's no tomorrow, a touch that can make anyone forget any sorrow.

To have no feeling of being forced,
Everything done from a genuine source.

You will know if it's fake or real,
This is not something that can be sealed.

Like a job posting for an opening,
Being wanted by someone you love will always be refreshing.
Everyone wants attention especially from the ones they love, the only problem is, is everything real? A genuine feeling that needs a genuine reply.

Eclipse
Luminous Night Jan 2016
Gave it all,
Exceeded beyond the toll.

Found every way,
Even there are reasons not to stay.

Thought about giving smiles,
Even if it meant a thousand miles.

Every pain was endured,
Lowered every stature.

Sacrificed all that can be,
So that there will be you and me.

For a long time it was shown,
But you see everything as the opposite tone.

Saw how the road was paved,
But one stupid incident got it all erased.

Went to a point of begging,
For you not to start packing.

What happened next?
Maybe time is still giving a test.

Always want to hear your voice speak,
But now it's an utter eclipse
A stack of effort is still less than a mistake even if it meant everything

Knight
Luminous Night Jan 2016
There was once a knight with no armor, all that he had was his waning honor

He forged a sword from a steel called desperation,
Straightened it using the hammer of depression.

Time after time he fought,
Demons, monsters and creatures he never thought.

After battles he crafted,
A protection from the things he was rejected.

Piece by piece he assembled,
Fight after fight he gambled.

The parts were not found but given,
From all of the battles that he was challenged.

An armorless knight left with pain and no honor,
Stands tall with a full set of black armor.

Society asked how he obtained it, all he said was "you gave it".

Focus
Luminous Night Mar 2016
The world is not that huge,
It's just a ball spinning like a centrifuge.

A step can discover many things,
An event creates many happenings.

With just a turn you'll see what you can. With a decision you'll see what will happen before and then.

All are just done commonly,
But no one will understand everything completely.

Like wearing a blindfold on one eye, what you'll see will just look like a lie.

Not focusing on one thing,
Can mean someone their everything.
When you look away at someone, you won't know what they are losing. And if you insist, they may have lost many things.

Tear
Luminous Night Feb 2016
A drop would be like a hurricane,
A drop that is heavier than any rain.

A drop would cause earth to shake,
A drop that causes mountains to break.

A drop more valuable than silver or gold, a genuine truth that can be told.

It's something no one could bear,
It's devastating than any wild fire flying in the air.

Only shed in sincere pain,
The cause is then put to shame.
The magnitude of a single tear, and it's real price. How much more if one genuinely cries?

Illusions
Luminous Night Apr 2016
It wasn't there before,
But now you can see it's core.

Fading away like an old picture on a frame,
You thought it's gone but it's still the same.

Your eyes blocked with strobing lights,
It interferes on what's in sight.

It's seems so close from afar,
But it was always far apart.

Illusions play tricks with the mind,
It will make you think you're doing fine.
You can only tell that something changed if it is fully different. Sometimes, some may look different, but it's still the same. Like an object sitting on a table, you thought it changed just because it was now on a chair

Masks
Luminous Night Feb 2016
There are many kinds of masks,
All fit for each of their tasks.

Some are made out of smiles,
Stretches longer than a mile.

Some are made out of silence,
Like speaking needs a license.

Some are made of good deeds,
Always ready to give a wise heed.

Some are made out of darkness,
Always doing mischief with grace and finesse.

There are too many to mention,
All have the same complications

Are they what they are to be,
Or just a cover for those who wanted to see.

A behavior that wasn't theirs,
All done because everybody gives fake cares.
Almost everyone wears at least one, to hide sadness or to be someone they couldn't be

Wasted
Luminous Night Feb 2016
A freshly cooked food thrown,
A surprise that was early shown.

A useful tool that was barely used, a sure win effort only to lose.

Time that was rarely given,
All left to do nothing often.

Sacrifices almost everything,
Just to be wasted for a stupid thing.

Once something was lost,
No one can bring it back with just a high cost.
Nothing can replace the original, even if you make the same thing. It won't be the same.

Experiment X: Monster
Luminous Night Feb 2016
It starts with curiosity,
And ends painfully.

It goes through many stages,
Then the aftermath stays for ages.

Ingredients are as follows,
A person that should be hollowed.

A jolt of betrayal,
A strike of being cynical.

Flames that burns with shame,
A poison made out of promises that never came.

A drop of empty expectation,
A flask of wasted determination.

A heart so broken that it can never stand. A scent of revenge that fills a hand.

Mix them all well,
Then you'll see a living hell.

Steps to make a bleeding name,
A monster that emerges from disdain.
Those who chose to break will just create another,. Stronger, better, faster, and most of the time, more bad. These are the people who did not choose to stay down and weep.

Lies
Luminous Night Feb 2016
It goes from light to dark,
Sweeter than a kilogram of sugar.

Comes in many sizes,
All paid with different prices.

Told by everyone,
Fooled every single one.

Shot harder than an arrow,
Then a jolt of lightning follows.

Grips with claws that can shred,
Stabs like a knife that's jagged.

No matter what its intent,
Pain will be the only thing it implements.

Like a venomous sting,
Poison flows when lying.
Like a morbid form of torture,
Lies hurt by false belief then finishes it off with excruciating truth. Truth will only hurt when kept away from the one that deserves it.

Eyes
Luminous Night Apr 2016
A box or a closet,
It won't matter even if you closed it.

Thick walls will look like paper,
Like ice that will melt sometime later.

Camouflage will only pop up,
Illusions are not enough to make it stop.

Eyes that pierces through anyone,
Gives a lot of burden to those that have one.
We tend to look only on the things we wanted to see, but our eyes are too sharp to be blocked by what we want

Broken
Luminous Night Feb 2016
Holding a bomb that is active,
Any wrong move can be explosive.

Or a flask full of hazardous chemicals, dropping it may damage more than physical.

Like glass shattered to pieces,
Your feet will bleed as you pass it.

A heart that fell to be broken,
Its shards will cut any skin open.
Hearts that are broken leaves sharp pieces on the floor, the one who broke it and the others that tried to pass it will just bleed.
Those that posses it are breathing.. But dead on the inside

Betrayal
Luminous Night Feb 2016
Like a knife with a sharp handle,
Like a match that burns bigger than a candle.

Like a candy that appears sweet,
But its sourness just reeks.

A road that looks flat while driving, but it gets bumpy as the car is passing.

Like a friend that gives you smiles, then stabs you more than thirty in a little while.

It's closer than what you think,
Cause it never comes from an enemy you distinct.

Feeling impaled from one side to the other, it will still hurt as much, even if you don't bother
Luminous Night Feb 2016
They say it's a symbol of hope,
But my eyes doesn't cope.

Almost everyone just wants to adore, but to me all of it is an eyesore.

Blindness is caused by you,
I desire not to see you through.

Betrayal and lies that hides behind brightness,
That's the reason I hated the light and chose the darkness.
A wolf inside a sheep's skin, needles inside a pillow. Looks like all high and mighty, but destroys something precious to another.

The Tragedy of the Moon
Luminous Night Feb 2016
It gives light in the darkest hours,
Keeps you company wherever you are.

Stays even if you can't see it,
Gives encouragement to your down spirit.

Only wants attention,
It'll keep glowing to catch your perception.

Can only be seen during the night,
But sometimes clouds gather all their might.

And even all this is done,
The memory always looks like it's gone.

Like a cycle of day,
Once light hits you never bothered to stay,

Always wishing "soon",
That's the tragedy of the moon.
When someone forgets, remembering won't heal the wounds it left..
