It gives light in the darkest hours,
Keeps you company wherever you are.

Stays even if you can't see it,
Gives encouragement to your down spirit.

Only wants attention,
It'll keep glowing to catch your perception.

Can only be seen during the night,
But sometimes clouds gather all their might.

And even all this is done,
The memory always looks like it's gone.

Like a cycle of day,
Once light hits you never bothered to stay,

Always wishing "soon",
That's the tragedy of the moon.
When someone forgets, remembering won't heal the wounds it left..
