The Judge Dec 2015
The darkness envelopes the night,
the stars in the sky dissapear.
Leaving a stranded knight,
with nothing to fear.

He's all alone in this world,
with nothing but a sword.
His hopes are curled,
for he thinks there is no lord.

But right as he is about to give up,
a lightness embraces him.
It fills his almighty cup,
it takes away all his sin.

He feels like a god reborn.
He throws his sword to the ground.
His world has been torn,
never to be found.

He is the only ruler now,
Only he can judge you now.

The knight in the sky,
the one who learned how to fly.
The Judge Dec 2015
I think about you all day,
for you to take my troubles away.

I love your jokes,
just as much as your pokes.

Just thinking about you makes me smile,
and I often do it for a while.

We may be miles apart,
But I love you with all my heart.
My friend asked me to write a poem about long distance relationships.
The Judge Nov 2015
I sit in my corner,
crying in shame.
I never wanted this,
***** the fame.

I just want her back,
I don't want to be without her.
I cant lead them,
if I shed a single tear.

She was my guiding light,
my everything.
And I would give anything,
just to hear her voice sing.

But I can't go with her.
No I have to lead them,
It's what she would want.
Even if I'm condemned.

The night continues on,
without her right next to me.
I am all they have now,
I will make them see.

I will be their guiding light,
because she was mine.
I wipe the tears away,
stand up and say "Fine."

The contract has been made,
I will live as their leader.
I shall lead them,
under this branch of cedar.
The Judge Nov 2015
Whenever I look at the sky,
I used to smile.
I used to lay in the grass,
and stare for a while.

But with all this pain,
and all this hatred.
I often think about how,
I feel dead.

I used to dance in the clouds,
and laugh all the time.
Now I just sit and think to myself,
only being able to rhyme.

I think of the future and the past,
and everything in between.
Of all the things I want,
most is my slate to be clean.

I sit and think about demons,
not bothering about angels.
I flip my coin and throw it,
my wish down my well.

Fox
I traveled through the woods,
as stealthily as a fox.
Searching for some food.
Be it raw or in a box.

My fur is a dark red,
scarlet almost.
I am desperate to be fed,
so I'm quiet like a ghost.

I see a wild rabbit,
sitting in the grass.
Eating its last bit,
of crabgrass.

I bound through the land,
searching for my prey.
Traveling over sand,
my hunger will not delay.

When a gunshot is heard,
and i go flying to the west.
My fate can not be deterred,
for I have been shot in the chest.

I still have the picture in my head
Of that Sunday morning
I found your hanging body

Ever softly, as if  to say
I'd missed my chance to save you
By only a heart beat

This nightmare can't be true
There's no way that was you
With a rope wrapped tightly around
The throat I use to kiss
Those fibers robbing the color
From my favorite lips.

For those who've lost a loved one to suicide
The Judge Nov 2015
I crawl towards the door,
tears streaming down my face.
A trail of blood on the floor,
But I will never accept this fate.

I will make it to the end.
I will show them the best.
Even if I have to lose friends.
Even if I've failed the test.

I will rise above them.
I will tear down their balconies.
I will drag the wolf out of its den.
I will force them to their knees.

As I push my hands on the floor.
I push myself up.
I will accept failure NO MORE
I will grab the golden cup.

I will always stand.
Even if I must use broken wings.
For this is my land.
And you will hear me sing.

I take a step through the door.
and see the sky.
I feel something from my core,
and feel like I could fly.

I walk on this land,
its smell is sublime.

Of all the things I am certain,
it will be mine.
