 Apr 2018 Desmond the poet
Colm
Though I do not know
   Where you are at present
I want you now more than ever before

More than the ink in my pen
And the quiet corner of my world
       (which I also adore)

   Than any father or mother
       Stranger or friend

Because I want you my other
   More than life itself
Yes, I want your times itself to spend

On anything and everything
   Our hearts
       Our ears or eyes desire

Because I want you more
   Than even my former self
In this moment it's you I desire
Desiration | de·sire | dəˈzī(ə)r | noun | 1. a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.
Touch my heart
Grab my hand
Take me to your wonderland
I won’t know you
You won’t know me
We’ll dance around a reverie

We’ll dance and sing
For all to hear
And we’ll no longer live in fear
Of losing love
Or losing lust
Or losing everlasting trust

Twinkling lights
Will streak our skies
And gently spark enchanting eyes
The trees will wave
And clouds will smile
We'll leave this world, just for a while
I don't wear smiles
like clothes,
like you wear makeup

I don't choose in aisles,
in stores,
just for the occasion

You can try
and you'd fit right in my shoes
but I'd never fit in yours

I don't wear jewels
but I'd love
to wear your denial
mmm,
your scent for awhile...
