the stages of grieve
feel like they
are taking the entirety of my life

it seems that i gave you happiness,
all of it,
all of the happiness in the world,

even the little bit that belonged to me..

you broke me
until your insecurity screamed, "Ah, see, imperfections!",
because only then you could love me,
even loved me more than
the way you hung on your trauma,
even when i had all the right remedies for your pain

This sadness
feels so deeply rooted within me
that I wonder
would I even feel like myself without it?
You've given me tons of reasons to leave,
But I still stay
Because those reasons weren't enough
To keep me away

time will heal
and silently
collect the scars
that are
meant to be
left in the past

after all
love
simply isn't enough
to make us last.
to her, the one who got away
Life isn't fair,
But fair is unseen.
And what is unseen is unreal,
But what's unreal is your story
That you would one day share.
The idea for this one is inspired by 'Your Time Is Gonna Come' from Led Zeppelin.

Also by the quote 'If you're going through hell, keep going.' from Winston Churchill.
Let the pain flow out.

Let me be there,
Before I fall away.
I’m on an arrogant throne,
And nothing but a beast,
But...
Let me help.

Smile, and take my embrace.
Let me comfort you,
Help carry some of the pain.

Maybe I just need comfort too...

Wander alone, for once
Wander about,
on this earth
you don't quite understand

Take a nap on the sea,
for once
feel the cold water
being warmed by the sun

Sleep by the banyan tree,
for once
watch as the snake slither
under your feet

By then you'll hear whispers;
someone else inside you
Yourself, but not you,
saying things you dare not speak
Of pronanities, maybe
or of sorrow
your deepest wish, perhaps
of not waking up the next morning

So wander alone, for once
