thump
thump
the rhythm of your heart
thump
i can feel it even when we're miles apart
rise
rise
the tide inside your chest
fall
as my resting head is lulled by every breath
tick
tick
the hours soaring by
tock
they feel like seconds, tell me, where did all our time fly?
thump
thump
the rhythm of my heart
thump
do you hear it beat for you when we're apart?

- p. winter
pageants of pageants
fractals and hype
of faceless terrors and faceless
inside
when rain on corrugated iron
when rain and the kettle boiling

i know i have taken too much time
i have taken time from time to decide
to realise i was only wiser before trying.

Patterns of paradox haunt
the terms of all desire

tussock grass on paths
that cuts the thin skin
and sticks

and a view to nowhere

some leaf in autumn

the hope of finding
Hold her gently whilst she sleeps
For the hurricanes she dreams
And the nightmares she has,
Will never come to fruition
If you make sure your hand
Is not far from her own.
You see, as the wind blows upon the seas of Ireland,
The mind of the solution sprays upon the land,
notice how the heart and soul of the rains,
and how the emotional rhythm goes hand in hand,
I often can't help but see how the sky goes cold but that
only makes you warmer inside,
and the cozy emotional phenomena
reveals the rains mind it will hide.
In Britain, the rains from the Irish seas always seems to make you warm inside with it's cold but refreshing breeze, often the rain is so light and soft the ground is still rather dry.
