Consuming beans
Don't hate the can
That's what they want
Divide then profit.
The label will not write a dirge
There's **** all we can do.

Mondays were not that tough,
Although each day was pretty rough.
I knew a lot of people,
and my experience there was not feeble.
Seldom did I get bored,
Smiles were not often forced.
I wanted to be home soon even then,
But my face was never ashen.
Saturdays were the Fridays,
Homework was not an enigmatic maze.
Just yesterday it feels,
Was my first day of school;
Today, I am sitting in front of a desktop,
Trying not to be a fool.
Insults were forgotten in a blink of an eye,
In the crowd of people, now I am asking, "who am I?".
Target of the day was to win a game,
Not to chase a deadline, or escape some shame.

Why do we have to have a rebellious soul?
Perhaps to blame life for taking a toll.
It's not easy to go with the flow,
Specially, when against you, the wind would blow.
Sorry, a pessimist here.
Im dying to see you and hear your voice,
But I can't run to you anymore,
In fact, its better if i dont think,
About the way things were before.

Surrounding myself with memories,
Will only bring me certain pain,
I need to realize that wishing
For you back wont lead to any gain.

I know that you arent suffering,
Because you havent tried to call,
How come this isn't hurting you?
Did you ever really care at all?

Maybe for you the last twelve months,
Were a waste of time and energy,
But you gave me the best year of my life,
It meant everything and more to me.
Sorry i had technical difficulties while writing this my phone kept messing up so i finally just got on a computer and i didnt have problems after that.

Just like in the Sweater Weather
All we are are men
All we want is the world in our hands
What they don't know is we still stand at the beach
Toes in the sand
Dreams of one love
Head up in the clouds
Except our gravity's centered
Just searching for adventure
Your lips, your mouth
Just a home with you and a house
It just seems the world tries to tell you what to think about
Hold your head up high
It's just us and the world let's find out
Our exterior is just something, we act like we don't want to talk about
Except what we need to know is that this world isn't too cold for us here
My twist on sweater weather by the neighborhood, and a shout out to my fellow man

Motivation seemed to be a big issue for me as a kid,
Only what had me interested would get me more actively pay attention,
But when it happened I was like a dog with a bone,
Hard pressed to give it up,
My motivation burning brightly.

But such motivation could be a double edged blade,
For flames that burn the brightest are also those that are very short lived.

It makes me wonder about you, dear reader,
Is your motivation slow and steady?

Or perhaps your like me,
Brilliant but fleeting,
The experience of discovery and newness of an activity being your real drive?

To the former,
Take a chance and be more aggressive in your actions,
May this advice bring more wind into your sails.

To the latter,
Pump the break for a second,
Take in the scenery so to speak,
Be amazed in the factors that went into shaping the events around you,
You may discover something you may have missed otherwise.

And to those I've previously left out,
Don't worry,
And wipe away that pout,
I was saving for the best for last.

You tightrope walkers,
Tiptoeing the razors edge,
Follow your gut,
For it hasn't led you astray yet.

Carry on my fellow travelers,
Your pioneering efforts haven't gone in vain,
Blaze the trails,
Climb the mountains,
And ride the rapids.
Thoughts produced whilst listening to the wind and rain.

monkey do, monkey see
when we grow what will be our legacy?
we move without a hint of originality

such bland colors were painted onto us by society.
these old folks bring such pity; living in the past,
teaching the young ones about a future they can't see

you use love
like a magic word
to get what you want
and gosh,
I'm so stupid
for believing
in sorcery.
