Walking in tranquil meadows an exotic aroma awakens my soul.

And from where could this intoxicating scent evolve?

It's then I see climbing a massive sycamore tree.

A vine sprouting Jasmine inviting Heaven's reach.

Gazing in awe life's now possible to resolve.

Oh blind me now
To the ways of sin
So that I may hide
Myself within
Rip it out
This heart of lust
Take away
My conditional trust
Deafen my senses
To unaware
Cage my guilt
In the dungeons
Of despair

Take away all I've sown
Place a limit on my cares
But you better close the door
Because there's a draft in here
A wind of change
That longs to blow
Into your life
To fill your soul
With the words of peace
Of tolerance that's fair
Allow us to breathe
  Just a little more air...

South-by-Southwest
You always rebelled
at the thought of obligation

Obliviously you would rather opt out
than be displayed
as a duty done in insignificance

A sailboat may be insignificant
. . . a tiny speck upon the ocean
But it sits high above the crests

You’re gonna let the sun
always go to his rite,
It’s a sacrifice,
but he will be overall victorious
reborning to new glory.

Stretched out and watery
the wide cut of your eyes
by a vulnerable agony
that will receive forgiveness
tickling the elegant lines
of your delightful face.

Now the way is charted
Barefoot I follow,
listening to the soft crackling
of a bizarre heart
that is just a projection
of the concrete.

Only a fleeting idea the trajectory
where my compass is pointing at,
within the chaos of dissociated memories,
my own north is still you, son of the sun,
the same sun that you’ll let go
cause you know he cannot forget you…
…you are his pride.
Something otherworldly, maybe foolish keeps me so attached to this work, but the person who inspired me he IS magic...

In every “Poetry Place”
There is a Copycat Corner.
We know it’s a disgrace
So here’s another “Warner”.

Why they do it I’ll never know,
Those Copier and Pasters.
Their words they seem to glow,
But they’re a bunch of Wasters.

Taking all that praise,
For stuff they haven’t written,
It seems to be a craze,
And many do get bitten.

Just Google their “fine words” or use those plagiarism sites,
And you will find the original poems
Bedecked with copyrights.

I’m sure this place just isn’t free
Of people like this,
Just look and see!!!

The Admins must get their fingers out,
And give these villainous rogues a massive clout.
Me, I will show all due diligence,
But my job here,
Is to show My brilliance.
(NOT someone else’s!).

There are times in my life
When all I want to do
Is to disappear
No plans
No questions
And no recriminations
Just disappearance
To nowhere

breathes an air
of rosewater essence

swept in a
breeze song
of gentle reverie

her dayspring
