God
Powerful and mighty,
Majestic and awesome.
Belief in God doesn't require approval.
All it requires is a willing heart,
Humble enough to accept a creator,
Each life is like a book,
Written by one author,
Purposed and known by Him,
Gracious and merciful is He.
His love is unconditional and endures everything. Indeed He is God.

As the clouds began to howl
More glorious than the gods
Of those evil neighbors of ours
Glory shows up
Exposes us
I’m naked here
Forsaken here
Strokes my ego
Echoes a hole
As the clouds began to roll
Into a thunderstorm
They shook loose
From the whispering fingertips
From the flickering flames
Standing in the sun
In the morning
We are new
To stiff upper lips
To crawling palisades

My feelings are these weird little creatures
That can make me want to hide
I sure as hell can't show them to others
So I keep them hidden inside
Except for around a precious few:
My two besties and the poems at my bedside
They are the ones whom I'm comfortable with
And whom I don't feel the need to abide
The notes of an introvert/ homebody/ girl who gets weird talking about her feelings with people in real life.

Over and over
My feet hit the ground
Spinning in circles
The earth is what I've found
Vibrations match my heart
I must be in love with myself
For the way I see blur
It makes my soul completely melt

How nice to feel dizzy
And not worry about the weight

I'm just a strange man
Who wants to hold
The finest rose in
The world;
Mine Jane.........
Mine soulmate..........

Mine girl-

I'm just a young lad,
With his head inside
A darkened bag,
Waiting for his
Queen's dear
Breath and kiss to poke holes of air
Into the layers of heaven's
Perfectness.

Because perfect, verily she is
To me, a flawless gem
Of many sea's.

Mine taste-buds bubble with
Seed's, wanting her lipstick;
Candy flavor.

This is mine love-
Written down on paper;
O' how I need her vapor----
Istic touch, her soul I feel,
A vital must.

Love her, I do
Love her
So much;

Love her so much.
Love her so much............

Up the steep steps
as you reach the age old fort,
you breathless behold
the green valley down below
and that magnificent mound of rock
by the name Robinson Hill.

In the sweet silence of birds' chirping,
the winds reek of rifles and gun smoke
and you hear not the rustling leaves
but bullets echoing all over the valley
one more down, another down
as they held the fort till fell breathless
passing into tombs and memorials
you read to pause for a breath
up above the green valley
where the grasses grew over the blood.
Duar War (1865) declared by the British on the Bhutanese.
Inadequately armed and outnumbered, the Bhutanese fought gallantly at the Buxa Fort, Duars before falling to the might of a superior army.
A visit to the Buxa Fort in April, 2016 inspired this write.
