Have you ever met Crystal before?
She's gonna be your best friend.
Light her up, she'll love you till your end.

Breathe her in and she'll bless your blood with sin.
Close your eyes, let her tuck you in.

She'll grace your lips and help you lose yourself.
She'll steal your life as the cold kisses your fingertips, she drains your health.

She'll hold you close and watch you fade.
She'll coo in your ear, "It's okay, darling. Don't be afraid."

The lights will dim, you'll hear a mother's mournful whisper.
You'll smile and think to yourself, "oh... how I'll miss her."

How I wish I could lay my head
down gently on your thighs,
to make you moan and sigh aloud
and slowly close your eyes.

How I wish I could use my tongue
and give you more than rhyme,
to bring a flush up to your cheek,
of feelings beyond space and time.

How I wish that I could speak
in words of feathered certainty
and so entice your curious mind
to lay down with me for eternity.

For the Muse I have yet to meet.
For the Lady I have yet to undress.
For the Lover I have yet to eat.
For the Goddess I have yet to impress.
I continue searching for you.

I don't know how to ride a bicycle
So you grabbed the bike and showed me how
But I didn't quite understand how you did it

So you let me ride it while holding the backside
I pedalled slowly at first, then gradually faster
Until the breeze hits my face and I've got smile on my lips

At last, I thought, I learned how to ride it
Then I looked behind and saw the view
You're not holding it anymore, you're faraway from me

I'm far from you, and you waved goodbye
So, I turned towards north and pedalled some more
At last, I thought, I learned how to ride the bicycle.

I didn't know how to ride a bicycle
But you taught me how, so I turned towards north, and pedalled some more.
for some people only comes to your life to teach you something and help you balance life. but you gotta leave them behind and let go with a thankful heart.
PS I actually don't know how to ride a bicycle. Haha

i watch
i shield
my candle
she flickers
she glows
she melts
away
slowly melting
my heart
i watch
i shield
my candle
my mother's
long goodbye
Wrote this for a friend whose father passed recently and whose mother is now down with AD. I've seen him transform into a serious adult with all the burdens of responsibility and the toll of emotions. AD - Alzheimer's Disease- hope they find a cure soon!
