Appearance
Is a saving word
Saving our anxiety
Of who we are..
The simplicity of
Appearance is
A temporary shaping
Of our real Self
Nothing more..!
Then we inquire
What is being shaped
And the reply stuns...!
Sleep
No longer rests
for the hauntings
In my dreams
Looking back
always
Never forward
For what is there?

I see myself
Slip away
Before I begun
Fear-ridden
By ghosts in my head
so much potential
yet I stay here
withered

I was looking for this girl
Who wouldn't mind my love

And spending some time
Together

Where we could be us

I was looking
And searching
But I couldn't find ya'

Maybe i Passed you up

I don't know
I was looking for this girl
But she never showed

I keep looking
Maybe she's up the road

Waiting to spark a conversation

I was looking for this girl
Who had a smile
That pierced my heart
And wanted to know how
If we could be together
Till the end of forever
And never be apart

I was looking for this girl
But I never found

And that's just the way it is now

I'll have to stop looking
For someone
That won't ever be around

You see...

I was looking for this girl

                                         But I..

                                         Gave up

We don't stay 23
to the end
the body shifts
it yields
it stretches
and it bends
grows
fertilised life
coughs it out
labours rife
delivered
to waiting
stangers hands
the mid wife
the ooh lahs
the wah wahs
new life crys
strives
through shut eyes
rooting out
crying for
its mother's ******
suckles to nourish
for comfort
for succour
to flourish
at first ****
feel pull of
a now empty womb
now no more
hermetically sealed
liquid echo chamber
organic incubator
more now
evacuated
abandoned life tomb
as cords cut
signals separation
that first wail
a call for independent
new identification
what was one
now severed
becoming two
life brand new

Find me in the reddening
October trees of autumn.
Read the poetry I carved on their branches.
Each falling leaf will lead you closer to the most hidden parts of me.
