As the autumn leaves whirl around
I sit quietly listening to the sound
And look outside, struck by what I've found
The beauty that surrounds

Now fall is not my favorite time of year
Christmas is, and for good cheer
I get to spoil my kids, and my dear
And love abounds

I love my husband and he loves me
There's no arguing, we live happily
I'm awestruck everyday by what I feel and see
Like his queen, I was crowned

So as I'm faced with autumn, and the cold
I'll surround myself with love and beauty untold
I have my love and he has me to hold
As the leaves fall all around
For my love

In my dream. Ivy, stone, and spit. A rock garden at the end of a mile-long entry. A pond for the birds and wildlife.
Solace in the wood structure that meets the eye head-on, never making any excuses for its existence. It lives.
A kitchen that is sturdy and smells like everything good under the sun. An extended trestle table for the family.
Lights and shadows in the library, a roaring fire in the living room, bedrooms infused with comfort and sanity.

In my dream. Wonderful people and pets that behave. No gloom or dust would invade, nor bad spirits or demons.
Mirrors in every room in the house, all calibrated to reflect the best of me, the image that’s in my head and heart.
And the music, oh my the chords of peace and tranquility with a sly note of the devil for good measure as always.
Fragrance of herbal flowers and old cedar chests waft through every corner of as if the old and the new are here.

In my dream. The end never comes. It’s one day after another of the joy unattainable on the rocky sphere I left behind.

Poets are dots of fire
in unexpected
dark corners.....found

by those seeking answers,
finding dots of wisdom,
and strength,

bits and pieces of
enlightenment
through the thoughts
we share...

we're amongst fireflies,
poets narrating life...
with subtlety
or candidly...

Dive into a brand new world
Say goodbye for now
Before it gets
too dark to see.

Would you do
something,
anything at all
to put on the light.

Darkness is fast
approaching,
even the light
of a firefly will do.

I don't know
what i don't know.

But if you know,
you know.

Before it gets
too dark to see.

Complexities and
confusion all around us.

Wailing,
groaning and crying
heard daily everywhere.

Even at day time,
it's getting dark,
too dark to see.

The soul is
weary from its toil
and exaction.

Slowly everything
crumbles in the
ashes of the struggle.

Everyone agrees that
it is time to
do something.

But i think
it is time
to light the
candles and pray
before it gets
too dark to see.

The people are
already grumpy and
groveling in the day
as if the darkness
just appeared.

It's not too late
to do something
before it gets
too dark to see.

Even the light
of the moon
at night and
the sun in
the day will cease.

All you need
is the glow
of the light within,
before it gets
too dark to see.

He makes me laugh so much,
That my stomach hurts and my eyes tear up,

But,

I can't be with him.

Because Mumma told me,

Every time you laugh, you have to cry equally.

I wish I knew before it was too late
That she was the ****** in a book left unfinished
Because I, the author, had my mind busy writing the wrong story
